Okay, so this is yet another show I've never heard of before, but since tough, capable girls with a soft side (and a penchant for guns, other instruments of violence and/or general badassery) are like the greatest thing ever, I've got to say I loved this anyway. I loved this (and Maggie Q, aka Ivy Tamwood incarnate) so much in fact that I went youtubing for them, so I could put an actual face on Alex, and I found this clip about them I think you might like:
When it comes to femslashy subtext, I'm like admiral oblivious ('cause 'captain' is just way too mild where I'm at), but if you showed me that clip and nothing else of the show, I'd think these two are an actual couple. Seriously.
