I try not to think about this movie too much because if I did I'm pretty certain I would hate it. I absolutely *lurve* 28 Days Later and this was just.. ugh.
I think I would have enjoyed it more had two specific things not happened -
1. Had they seriously not tried to make me believe that the military, after finding a survivor, one who may be infected, would NOT be guarded 24/7 with a platoon of soldiers!?!
2. Or have a scene where pretty Rose Byrne and the kids go down into the subway and Rose has the kids go first!?! All I kept thinking was 'you know, if there's anything actually down there, she's going to blow those kids heads off before she shoots them!'.
That and they seemed to have traded scary for LOUD. I seriously thought my eardrums were going to burst from the 'ooh, this scene is scary. How can you tell - the music's LOUD!!!'!
