Heh! I don't know how much GoT fiction I'll end up producing. I didn't find the books all that femslashy, and the show probably isn't going to give us much more of the pairing that I just wrote about (although I really, really hope they do). But, depressing as they are, I like the books (so far) so picking them up is probably alright.
The show is also really good so far. Lena is pretty fantastic as Cersei. Cersei is of course a cold, manipulative bitch just like in the books, but Lena's portrayal of her is pretty nuanced and fascinating so far. You won't LIKE Cersei, but Lena makes her really watchable.
