OMG, I almost fell off my chair when I saw Serena/Vanessa after the pairing heading! I might not ship the couple but I still loved the fic. What made me happy was that there were still Waldsen undertones to it and that you gave some perspective to Vanessa, who seems to be universally hated at the moment but comes across as totally sympathetic here.

Also, I can totally imagine this all happening. It's practically canon ;D
