I wrote a REALLY long comment on here that didn't seem to post, so to sum:
I don't know how you find such the perfect balance of Joanna caring (willing to fight for the rebellion) and not caring (losing her temper and almost beating Kat during the games), but I love it.
Also, one of my favorite things about the books is how all of the victors are messed up. Because, obviously you can't really live with yourself afterwards, and seeing the victors cope after the games is more interesting than what they did during the games (to me, at least).
