Yeah, that would have been a really interesting story. Too bad Meyer only spent like a paragraph on it (at least in the books I read).

That's one of the frustrating things about the novels. Stuff like Alice's background that is actually interesting, get like next to no coverage, and yet Bella and Edward can go on for 30 pages having a conversation about nothing!
