So I've been following this story since the beginning and finally decided to post, b/c it just keeps getting better and half the time I'm wishing you would've written the actual books cuz then i wouldn't have had the urge to set them on fire while reading.

Alice’s eyes closed as the scent washed over her. Her chest began to rumble, a longing purr escaping from her as her lips pulled back over her teeth, revealing glistening white fangs.

I do not understand a world in which vampires do not have fangs, so this part made me happy...and i'm more than grateful for the mental image. =)and i enjoyed learning more about Alice's training since that's something i'm really looking forward to.

Charlie is seriously awesome. Him chasing Alice out of the house w/ a shotgun is hilarious. she'd probably just smile or bat her eyelashes at him and he'd turn right back around grumbling to himself and shut himself in his room.
