but if Ivy were to bite Glenn, he'd get a scar and... that's it. In the Hollowverse, only dead vamps can turn humans, and even then, it's a willing thing.
Shame: It's what I feel right now.
You're totally right, I forgot that only undead vampires could turn someone.
Still, the whole 'Glenn will let Ivy bite him but Rachel won't' thing makes Rachel look like an ass. Rachel is a witch (in fact she's the most awesomest witch who ever witched) and can defend herself if Ivy gets a little too frisky. Glenn can't do that, and is STILL willing to chance it. So, why is getting bitten by vampires fine for everyone one else in the world (including FIB officiers who until two years were afraid of tomatoes), but not for our precious little sparrow, Rachel?
Rachel: Wait a goddamned minute. Glenn has a blood balance with Ivy and I don't? That's just wrong! *Shouting* Ivy, get over here, I need you to bite me, right NOW!
The thing is, this might work. I fully believe that petty jealously would motivate Rachel to try things with Ivy again, more than say thoughtful reflection would.
