lol! I legit just needed a private place for them to have the sexes. It's probably really unlikely she'd have her own cave, but whatevs, it's fanfic I can do what I want to! :D

And then I came up w/ the explanation that Ares won't talk to Clarisse in public b/c he's a dick, and even though she's his favorite kid he doesn't want anyone to figure it out, hence the cave....
