Heh...this reminds me of ST:Voyager and the various ships/fandoms there, the strongest being J/C and J/7 so of course the ending waaaas....C/7. Nicely done.
I get your wariness, though, and since you're the one who turned me back to Hollows with your awesome fic (after I'd given it up before for being too like Anita Blake and Southern Vamp, without anything to redeem or separate it), I'll probably wait till the end and then see if I can go back.
