Yes, the pic is soundstage-y and everything is weirdly shiny, but IDGAF!  I can totes picture what she'll look like all dirty and bloody prowling the forest in my mind and it is amazing!

And a bigger, clearer version of the EW cover!

Love the bow!  I cannot wait to see all that archery practice in action!

She's so awkward, I love her.  The dark hair also gives her a sort of effortless sensuality, which is of course very relevant to my interests.

And she really is gorgeous ... and has an amazing body. She was saying in an interview how she wanted to have a 'woman's body' instead of being scrawny as hell in the new X-Men movie and I was like, "my dear, you don't need to worry about that!"

Thank god the producers of THG aren't insane like people on the internet and didn't make her lose a ridiculous amount of weight to look half starved like Katniss is described in the books.

And that "The Chosen One" caption is just ridiculous. Katniss wasn't chosen for shit, she volunteered. This isn't Harry Potter or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The Accidental Hero, Enemy of the State or The Girl on Fire would have been way better captions for Katniss.

I hope we get pictures of some of the other cast members coming out soon. I know they've barely started filming, but still. If they released the JLaw ones to (successfully) stop internet bitching about her not looking like Katniss, they should totally release a pic of Josh as Peeta and Lian as Gale as well, since people are still WTFing about those two. I don't have a problem with the casting, I'd just be curious to see a pic of them.
