All hail the power of 'the glasses of charm and funny'
Not only did Stef bring the ridiculous pretty, she also brought the funny and totally rocked the pants suit and vest, not to mention the long necklace and glasses (but we already knew about that one *wink*)
Quotage:
Gretchen: I worked with Jack in plastics and he tends to approach all problems the same. Locate the problem. Isolate the problem. Set the problem up with a lesbian.
Lemon: That's a pretty funny joke for someone in plastics.
Gretchen: "Well, I didn't always works in plastics, I used to work in water process technologies."
Lemon: Ahh, so you have a comedy background.
Gretchen: *adorable smile and giggle*
Lemon: What made you think I was gay?
Jack: Your shoes.
Lemon: Well I'm straight
Jack: Those shoes are definately bi-curious
Lemon: Listen, this is gonna sound weird, but do you ever worry about chocking to death alone in your apartment?
Gretchen: It's so weird that you would say that. I think about it all the time. I mean you would die and nobody would know about it until your neighbours dog smelled you in the hallway...and it's not just chocking. Ever since I turned 30 everytime I get out of the bathtub I think "careful, careful".
Lemon: Everything's the worst!
Gretchen: *adorable laugh - while wearing glasses*
Lemon: Do you wanna get some dinner?
*see, clearly they are made for each other*
Frank: Liz, are you sure you're not gay? That chick is hot.
Lemon: We're just friends. Like Oprah and Gayle. Why is that so hard for everyone to believe?
Too bad it doesn't look like Thomas, or should I say Gretchen Thomas, will be making a reappearance. The play between March and Fey was cute and delicious.
Also, Oprah/Gayle jokes are still funny. "Lady Steadman", lol. Plus I loved Lemon showing off Thomas when she showed up at the poker showdown pointing at her all giddy like 'look at what I bagged'. Between that and the "Frank is a beautiful sensitive man" joke, I dug that scene.
Gretchen *dreamy sigh* was like a fun Alex Cabot (like maybe if you'd gotten a few drinks into Alex and she wasn't pretending to be straight, lol).
Also, have to agree with Kenneth, Baldwin doing that Hannibal Lector voice at the end of the poker game creeped me out, in between giggles at least. I like Baldwin on this show "Those shoes are definately bi-curious" lol.
Okay, it's official, Stephanie March needs to be on my tv on a weekly basis again (preferably in a role that allows her to smile, rock her hair, and be funny and charming - glasses optional but would be appreciated. Being a lesbian again would also be a plus, but once again optional - I can just slash her after all, lol)
Okay, so that kiss between Gwen and Carys was hella hot. I mean Gwen totally got into it and went for seconds and thirds without ANY prompting... and was then kinda disappointed when it ended. That's my kinda girl.
Between this and Owen making out with that guy last episode, and the on screen spec about Capt. Jack, Torchwood may become the newest non-gay gay show and I'm totally there. Too made about Indira Varma's character, she and Gwen would've been good times.
*yeah, that's right I had nothing more to say really than 'ooooh girls kissing hot' deal with it*

Hopefully some CTV watcher will be able to upload it though, it was good watching. Plus, Liz Lemon/Gretchen Thomas is my new OTP. I think Lemon did protest too much, lol.

(I'm caught up on The Nine downloads now! *dances*)

I usually don't keep up with 30 Rock, but I made an exception this week for SM which was totally worth it.
Isn't The Nine getting good? Plus, last week were Lizzie and Kathryn not verging on buying a cat and moving in together? ;)
*icon love ... oh Rachel. Rachel Nichols is another that needs to be on my tv on a regular basis. Maybe she and SM could be in a show together about snarky P.I.'s that occasionally kickass ... and make-out.

Still, Gretchen and Liz would have made a cute looking couple.

Hee. Yeah, I know it's so true. Baldwin cracks me up on this show. His deadpan line readings, coupled with the weird things that Jack says just crack me up. The whole poker storyline, especial his last southern serial killer drawl when trying to psyche Kenneth Ellen out, had me in stitches.
Still, Gretchen and Liz would have made a cute looking couple.
They totally would have! It would have been fun to play with the idea a little bit for another couple episodes at least (and yes, it would have been nice to see more SM too). Then, because Liz is crazy, they could have had them part ways. Oh well ... or should I say everything's the worst!
