A gay 'ol time...

Hot new couple: Michelle and Kristanna

Picture is actually from months ago, but it was part of a very cute series of gaymo pics of them out and about in LA.

Well, looks like I'll be picking up that copy of The Advocate. Suspected, strongly, after comments Kristanna had made post-BloodRayne (*shudder* At least SOMETHING good came out of that movie being made), but to actually see it teasingly confirmed is a beautiful thing.

I need The L Word to start up (there's a phrase I never thought I'd hear myself utter ever again in life ... Damn you Kristanna! And by damn you, I mean "thank you for being so hot"), or Painkiller Jane pics to be released or something because I'm feeling the need to watch BloodRayne again, and I really, really don't want to do that to myself ;D

Is Kristanna a giant or something?

I've never seen BloodRayne, is it that bad?

Heh, six words - written and directed by Uwe Boll. The Ed Wood of the New Millenium!

Did you hear that he's planning to make BloodRayne II? I hope to hell that Kristanna has learned her lesson and stays the hell away from that project. But, how *sputter* where does this man keep finding people to give him money for this shit that he produces (and why with budgets like 20 million do the movies look like the they were filmed for 3, 000 with costuming being provided by Ms. Calhoun's Family Studies class?)

Sigh, at least he wasn't able to dupe any name actors into staring in his latest dreck "Seed" (which is being panned left, right and center - shocking I know - for not only being horrible, but including a senseless and random animal torture sequence during the opening credits). *so much hate*

Heh, the German Gov't. Iirc, he's exploiting a tax loophole that allows German filmmakers/investors to write off the budgets as a tax deductible. Which, as across the board awful as Uwe is, kinda makes me love him. He's doing what he loves, albeit awfully, and getting someone else to completely foot the bill!

OMG! Seriously? *shakes first at Germany. I mean, yeah they gave be Stefi Graff but really, there's no excuse for Uwe Boll*

If only he could use he's powers for good.

*shakes head*

Sucks to be the rest of the world...

Is Kristanna a giant or something?

*tall girl reactionary statement* No! Rodriguez is just a midget!

*reason kicks in* Okay, okay ... but let's go with ... amanzonian, she's amazonian.

In all seriousness though, Loken is tall, she's 5'll (3/4 of inch taller than moi). I love her and her giantess glory, but yeah, she does look funny in that pic with the shorter Rodriguez.

And yeah, BloodRayne is pretty bad. It took me about 40 minutes to realize that Rodriquez was attempting a British accent, I realized Loken was doing it but it wasn't good. The outfits were shitty, the dialogue and plot ridiculous, the love story contrived (though it did lead to a boob shot), and the fight scenes awkward and boring.

Really the only good thing about it was the eye candy (Kris and Michelle), the gay (Rayne was totally in love with her gypsy friend, and was totally macking on a lady of the night before feeding off of her), and that's about it for dimlights (I can't in good conscience say 'highlights', but at least it wasn't a complete well of despair like other Boll movies)
