"Gray Matters" - Trailer (a.k.a. Bridget Moynahan kisses a girl)

Okay, so I heard about this movie a loooong time ago, and now it finally seems like it's going to see the light of day. From the trailer it seems like a typical rom-com with a lesbian twist (much like one of my favorites from last year "Imagine Me and You" ... only with American accents).

Now when it comes to Heather Graham, when presented with the choice of taking her or leaving her, I'll usually leave her, but she didn't bother me at all in the trailer - in fact, and it pains me to say this she seemed kind of cute *sighihatemyself*

But, even if Heather didn't seem surprisingly tolerable in this I would totally still see it to watch the smoking hot Rachel Bridget Moynahan flirting and making out with another girl (cause, after Coyote Ugly and her love at first sight, um I mean bffs at first sight storyline on Six Degrees, it's really about frickin' time!).

So, in conclusion, yeah ... I'm there.

Edited: because I forgot to mention that Rachel Shelley (a.k.a. Helena Peabody ... otherwise known as one of the three good things about TLW also stars in this!)

I read a review saying it was more about Gray's realisation that she was gay, than the actual romance, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get a happy ending.

I saw Coyote Ugly years ago and don't remember it too well - there was some dodgy singing and 'girl becomes a star' plottage that make me yawn.

Oh, and what's the third good thing about TLW?

Yeah, I've heard that it's more a comedy on the topic of coming out than a rom-com about the relationship between Graham and Moynahan, but I'm okay with that premise too. The fact that the reviews I've read about it have said that it's really funny also help matters. Plus I read that there is at least one steamy kissing scene between Graham and Moynahan which means I'm a-okay with it. Also I've heard Shelley's character described as Helena Peabody-esque (now whether that's S2 Helena or S3/S4 Helena I have no idea).

The only reason I made it through that movie was my girlcrushes on ... well, half the cast (Mmm, Maria Bello, Bridget Moynahan and Piper Perabo). The only thing I really remember about it is dancing on bars, spraying people with water, and a really embarassing rendition of "One Way or Another" ... and of course all of the ladies in leather pants.

Oh, and what's the third good thing about TLW?

Well, I'm assuming your with me on Alice and Helena being good thing, one and two, and at least for me the third good thing right now is Kristanna Loken. However, if you don't have a girlcrush on the Lokinator then I would suppose there's only two good things, lol.

Alice and Helena would definitely be one and two or two and one, depending on my mood.

I've only ever seen Kristianna Loken in things I didn't like - BloodRayne and Terminator 3 (I sat through the entire screening of the film sulkily ranting about it not being a proper Terminator film if there was no Sarah Connor because she was the star, not the muscle bound moron. So my judgement's a little cloudy on that one). But I'm hoping she gets to be number three - she has so much potential as a figure of swoon.
