Okay, so I heard about this movie a loooong time ago, and now it finally seems like it's going to see the light of day. From the trailer it seems like a typical rom-com with a lesbian twist (much like one of my favorites from last year "Imagine Me and You" ... only with American accents).

Now when it comes to Heather Graham, when presented with the choice of taking her or leaving her, I'll usually leave her, but she didn't bother me at all in the trailer - in fact, and it pains me to say this she seemed kind of cute *sighihatemyself*

But, even if Heather didn't seem surprisingly tolerable in this I would totally still see it to watch the smoking hot ~~Rachel~~ Bridget Moynahan flirting and making out with another girl (cause, after Coyote Ugly and her love at first sight, um I mean bffs at first sight storyline on Six Degrees, it's really about frickin' time!).

So, in conclusion, yeah ... I'm there.

I'm feeling a bit slow because I don't actually know who Bridget Moynahan is but I agree about the Heather Graham take her or leave her option. I just hope this is as sweet as Imagine Me & You and that Rachel Shelley is on screen for more than five seconds.

Bridget Moynahan is sexy Rachel the bartender from Coyote Ugly (aka the hot one that liked to hit things and wore leather pants!)

Me too. I'm really hoping that this will be an American version of Imagine Me and You. The trailer makes me hopeful, and the reviews I've read compare it to Imagine Me and You, so hopeful this will be the light, lovely, lesbian rom-com of the year :D

I know! I'm thinking she plays a character that hits on Graham (at least that's what it looks like from the trailer), which means she might not be in it for too long, but if she plays one of Gray's gal pals we could see multiple scenes with her.

I read a review saying it was more about Gray's realisation that she was gay, than the actual romance, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get a happy ending.

I saw Coyote Ugly years ago and don't remember it too well - there was some dodgy singing and 'girl becomes a star' plottage that make me yawn.

Oh, and what's the third good thing about TLW?

Yeah, I've heard that it's more a comedy on the topic of coming out than a rom-com about the relationship between Graham and Moynahan, but I'm okay with that premise too. The fact that the reviews I've read about it have said that it's really funny also help matters. Plus I read that there is at least one steamy kissing scene between Graham and Moynahan which means I'm a-okay with it. Also I've heard Shelley's character described as Helena Peabody-esque (now whether that's S2 Helena or S3/S4 Helena I have no idea).

The only reason I made it through that movie was my girlcrushes on ... well, half the cast (Mmm, Maria Bello, Bridget Moynahan and Piper Perabo). The only thing I really remember about it is dancing on bars, spraying people with water, and a really embarassing rendition of "One Way or Another" ... and of course all of the ladies in leather pants.

Well, I'm assuming your with me on Alice and Helena being good thing, one and two, and at least for me the third good thing right now is Kristanna Loken. However, if you don't have a girlcrush on the Lokinator then I would suppose there's only two good things, lol.

Alice and Helena would definitely be one and two or two and one, depending on my mood.

I've only ever seen Kristianna Loken in things I didn't like - BloodRayne and Terminator 3 (I sat through the entire screening of the film sulkily ranting about it not being a proper Terminator film if there was no Sarah Connor because she was the star, not the muscle bound moron. So my judgement's a little cloudy on that one). But I'm hoping she gets to be number three - she has so much potential as a figure of swoon.

Bridget Moynahan was also the very tall twenty-something who married Mr Big in 'Sex and the City'.

And she's been the very tall and generally brainy girlfriend in a few things: The Sum of All Fears, The Recruit, I,Robot.

I think I nearly cried the first time I saw this pic of Bridget and Ben.

All of that prettiness was just too overwhelming.

I find Ben Affleck highly annoying to watch, so he just tends to leach all sexiness out of the photos he's in for me.

lol, I love that description of her. She does tall and brainy so well. She's like the only thing that I liked about all of those movies you listed above.

She always played a tall, brainy magazine editor or something on Six Degrees, but I couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to keep watching that show. First of all they had Johnaton Cake cheat on the Bridget, then they tried to convince me that she wasn't in love with her instant bff on that show, which was just silly.

She does tall and brainy so well. - That she does. A bit like...Famke Janssen!!! So much so, in fact, that Fametracker.com did a 2 stars, 1 slot on them.

I'm thinking of writing a script for the Famke/Bridget movie. I don't think it'll be difficult. A meeting, many musical montages and a happy ending. Done. Mega-hit. Kerching!

I have never seen Six Degrees. But I remember my disbelief being severely suspended while watching Serendipity and seeing John Cusack chase Kate Beckinsale all over the place when he had the Bridget waiting to marry him. Now, I don't mind Kate, but surely there should be a law or something: If you have Bridget Moynahan, you bloody well don't cheat on her with lesser beings.

Famke would be the exception to the above law. Obviously.
