Canada hates ... Canadians ...
... and heat!
Mother of all that is sacred and good it is fucking freezing out! It's like stepping into a giant freezer and (unless you're a grissled New York City Police Detective, an arrogant but talented chef at a five star restuarant, or ... uh, Superman) that's just not cool.
I got in like half an hour ago and I'm still defrosting.
Thank goodness for Tim Horton's hot chocolate with a raspberry flavor shot! This warm, liquid ambrosia is the only thing keeping me going right now (well, that and the fact that last night's 'Heroes' was directed by B'Elanna Torres! Omgsocool!).
Also, if we get the 10-15 centimeters of snow that is forecast for tonight and we don't get a snow day tomorrow I'm gonna be really really pissed! Snow days are the only reason 10-15 cm of snow should exist!

*cries* I live 15 minutes from work and it took me an hour to get in today. And I had to clean like an inch of snow off my car while standing in like 2 inches of it and had to drive, for an hour, with wet socks. *cries*
I miss the good old days, when not only would we get snow days when this shit happened, but the troops would be called in too. *sigh* Those were the days.
-18 degrees this morning, -25 with windchill. Sucks to be an east coaster it does, it does, lol

Well considering we had like 14 storms within the space of 2 months I think we deserve a little break. Even during that time some idiots still had summer tires on their cars. You'd think people would learn.
Ouch. I live like 3 minutes away from a bus stop and last month it took me almost 15 to walk to it. Good thing my bus had a hard time getting up the hill.
That's why I carry a spare clean pair in my backpack. I hate when my feet squish in my shoes. That's just gross *shudder*
We had snow days when we had 5 cm on the ground. Then again...this IS BC.
If it makes you feel any better it's been raining since about 7 this morning, it's 6:27 now and it's only like 3 degrees outside. So in a way...we're suffering too. I know that sounds really pathetic but work with me!
