P.S. I'm with you on wanting some DVDs for the series, with lots of extras and info on what would have happened in the second season. All of the cast seems to have free time on their hands so get them in to do some extras Spike! Then again, that would mean that Spike wasn't being run by complete morons which as we know isn't the case :(

It's a shame that the series didn't last longer. For one thing, I'd love to know how the season-ending cliffhanger ended (logically, there's no way Krista should survive, but she's far too cool of a character to simply be knocked off).
Personally, I think the problem with the series was the same problem with the the movies: the character of Blade has been made into the ultimate bad-to-the-bone, snarling, weapons-bedecked, obsessive, one-note-wonder bad-ass. Past a certain point, that got boring. It should have been obvious to the creative team of "Blade" that something was wrong when the series' main vampiric villain (Marcus) always came across as much more human than the supposed protagonist.
On the other hand, "Blade" had some of the coolest supporting characters that I've ever seen. Those are the characters I'm going to miss.
