Brainzzzzzz, Mmmmmmmm!

Just got back from 28 Weeks Later.

Some thoughts:

1. Rose Byrne is so pretty. Seriously, I could stare at her soulful, intelligent eyes, strong profile and kissable lips for hours and be perfectly entertained. It'd almost be worth it to be chased by zombies if it meant that she would stand very close to me and whisper comforting words to me before giving me a full body hug. I mean there was one shot where she was just like sitting staring at a computer screen, before she turned her head a little and looked out a window and I was like *SWOON* Cause Rose Byrne is hot like that.

2. Imogen Poots (Tammy) has an unfortunate name, but is one of the most stunning people I've seen in a long time. She has some crazy gorgeous eyes. And they kept on giving us full screen face shots of her and all I could think is "this girl should be a model". Sometimes it was like watching a perfume ad or something because even covered in blood and grime she was so ridiculously luminous. In about three years, when she's an age range that's more comfortable for me, I'll comment on her kissable lips (see: Rose Byrne above)

3. Wow, kids really do ruin everything. When Scarlet was complaining about them not telling her that they were letting kids into Britain, I thought it was cute because it was Rose Byrne saying it and everything she says is awesome, but that she was also being a bit of a drama queen. However, she turned out to be right (how could I have doubted you and your sincere eyes Rose!?!) because in less than 24 hours those kids managed to frak up EVERYTHING! And then frak it up even more at the end. Seriously, the French are going to hate the English even more now thanks to Andy! [sarcastic]Merci, Andy![/sarcastic] *sneer* *mustache twirl* *throwing of rotten arms and legs*

4. Jeremy Renner! I love this guy, and as usually he was dreamy as Doyle. Plus, I'm convinced Doyle thought that Scarlet's lips were kissable too, which makes me like him even more. I was saddened when he died (a really horrible death at that). Damn you, Harold Perrineau. Seriously, between Michael on Lost, and this role, if it wasn't for Mercutio I'd be questioning my love for you, because Flynn was an asshole. My pretty Doyle and Scarlet, not to mention Skinny Crying British Man in the Blue Shirt, would have lived if you had just picked them up the first time. Though killing those zombies with the helicopter blades WAS pretty cool (though Planet Terror kind of beat you to it).

5. The kids father bugged. At the beginning he was kind of interesting because of his very human 'flight' instead of 'fight' response, and though it was idiotic his reaction to seeing his wife was also very real, and the scene that followed was quite scary. However, after that the character just became highly irritating. All I kept on muttering was "when did Robert Carlyle turn into the Terminator?"

Overall, I enjoyed the movie. It wasn't as awesome as the first one, but I thought that it was a decent film. It kept me entertained, there were some really moving scenes, and the cast was very pretty.

Also, I got to see a Rise: Blood Hunter trailer before it, which ruled. Lucy Liu... with my girl, Drew... Cameron D. and Destiny Charlie's Angels, Come on ... oh wait, no none of them except Lucy Liu ... with a short bow, and a blonde Carla Gugino, and vampires, and TOTALLY AWESOME! Well, probably not, but it's totally awesome to me anyway.

ugh, now you're makin' me want to watch 28 weeks later, after I swore on my stack of Resident Evil books that I wouldn't.... (zombies shouldn't run, dammit... *nods to self*)
how old is this here Imogen then that she's not in a comfortable age range?

Yeah, this kind of bugs me too. And I muttered about it a couple of times during the film. But if you can overlook it, you'll definately enjoy the first film and probably the second.

She's 17, which is actually legal. It's just a smidgen too young for me to be all like "smack that". When she's reachs 20, she can officially get onto my girlcrush list. Because she really is stunning and british which is awesome.

woo!
17 is good enough for me ^_^

I was arguing with my dad about the running thing
he's like "how do you know" etc. etc.
and I went into some complicated thing and he was like "but to you KNOW"
so irritating...
