Heh, I read that earlier today. Very 'diplomatic' post but doesn't really tell us anything as to *why* TPTB killed off Maureen. But, I did like this -
..and if I was writing it, I would have built that up more if I knew she was going to get killed...or at the very least have a major revenge scene after...I mean MAJOR!
Because he's right. If you're going to kill off a main character at least a) have the episode be something about said character and b) have the hero go fricken *nuts*! Having Jane put a bullet in Betty's head was a great start, but it still felt half-assed.
The sad part is, Palmiotti admits he wrote the next episode and there's nary a mention of Maureen in it because, well, he had no idea she was going to die when he wrote it. Which *really* sucks.
