ARGH god damn you Cockblock! Bloody hell ... there are so many ways to go with this. The (lame) straight option -- let them sleep together and get cockblocked by Rachel's "straightness", after which they accept a relationship of best-friends-only. The angsty queer option -- have them sleep together, Rachel freaks out for a book or two, and then she finally admits how she feels about Ivy and they work on building a relationship. The heteroflexible option -- have Rachel finally wake up (possibly due to Ivy getting with someone else and Rachel becoming jealous) and spend a book trying to reconcile her feelings for Ivy with her "straightness", before she admits how she is BLATANTLY GAY FOR IVY, and they enact Ravy.

Either way just CONFRONT IT, COCKBLOCK, instead of sweeping the situation under the rug. From what I've gleaned from Amazon, even the straight fans are tired of this angsty, unresolved ridiculousness.
