Alice sighed as Esme’s arms wrapped around her, and relaxed into the older woman’s embrace. Esme’s floral scented perfume surrounded her and Alice breathed in contently, allowing Esme’s scent to pervade her senses. She loved the way Esme smelled, and would have been content to spend hours wrapped up in her arms. She had done it before and knew that it would keep her completely entertained.

Warm lips pressed themselves gently to the base of Esme’s neck, tentatively kissing her, and Esme sighed softly, encouraging the exploration. Alice tightened her arms around the older woman’s waist, and brushed her lips against the base of Esme’s throat once more before slowly kissing her way up it, lingering on the flawless flesh as Esme’s hands began to move up and down anxiously against her back.

“We shouldn’t be doing this,” Esme sighed, tilting her head to the side, giving Alice better access to her neck.

“I know,” Alice whispered back, nipping at the pale flesh beneath her mouth lightly. “That’s never stopped us before.”

Esme’s lips curved up slightly at that and she chuckled softly. The sweet sound of her laughter made Alice shiver and kiss her delicious flesh more ardently.

“Is it going to stop us this time?” Esme asked with a vague sort of curiosity. She already knew the answer to her question, but she did love to tease, and Alice loved it when she did.

“No.”

Alice’s lips brushed against the underside of Esme’s jaw, her tongue flickering out of her mouth to lick at Esme’s chin for a moment before she continued up to the older woman’s mouth. Her hand moved up with her lips until her slim, delicate fingers were tangled in long, auburn hair, and Alice tasted Esme’s mouth for the first time that day.

Moaning into the touch, Esme tugged Alice’s body closer to her and parted her lips so that the raven-haired beauty could deepen the kiss. She knew that it was terrible thought to have, that they were not supposed to feel this way about each other, but there were few things in life as exquisite as kissing Alice, and she wanted to go on kissing her for eternity.

Tapered fingers trailed along Alice’s arm, until Esme was grasping Alice’s hand.

“Come my darling,” Esme whispered her voice far lower and rougher than usual. She turned her head to the side, towards where the bedrooms lay and Alice licked her lips anxiously before she inclined her head.

With her free hand Esme reached out and caressed Alice’s cheek, losing herself in the beauty of the petite brunette’s face for a moment. She leaned forward and pressed her lips tenderly against Alice’s, not able to resist the pull of the plump pink flesh, and then she drew back.

Alice’s thumb brushed against the back of Esme’s hand and the older woman knew that she was anxious to touch, just as Esme was. She smiled gently at Alice and grasped her hand more tightly, and then she pivoted gracefully on her feet and began to lead Alice towards the back of the house, hand in hand.

I also wasn't clamouring for this pairing, but I've always thought about Esme perhaps with Alice or Bella...y'know, a femmeslasher will do as a femmeslasher does and will femmeslash. And all that good femmeslash-y stuff.

This was elegant, and very real. I always love what you write, even (and sometimes especially) when you're inebriated.

Hadn't really ever put much thought into this pairing but yeah, v hot and cute. And I'm fairly certain Ashley Alice paired with anyone is sexy, well with the exception of Carrot Top maybe but really she's not a miracle worker.

I never considered an Alice and Esme pairing, but I loved this story. You just can't go wrong with Alice. I think you need to send her on a road trip to the Hollows. Alice & Ivy would be incredibly hot together!

Are you kidding?! I've been looking for Esme/Alice fic everywhere! Esme is much more interesting than Bella. Unfortunately, the quality of a LOT of fanfic is not so good, so to find some written of good calibre made my day. :)

sigh why do you always do this to me. You give me these fantastical little tidbits into pairings that no one else really writes about.

After I was done reading your Underneath it All. I went hunting for emma/jean and all i got were angst hate fics. And now you give me esme/alice done so perfectly well. NOW i have to go hunting for Esme/Alice pairings...
