Yeah, I don't know about this 'junior agent' thing. Like you said, there's already Astro (oh, Walter) who I love. And Olivia is the bees knees, but is really young as well, and I'm like 'doesn't the F.B.I. have any adults working there?'

I really like the snooping reporter idea, daughter of William Bell could be interesting (but I think it would take screen time away from Nina which would suck), or even like conspiracy nut or something would be better than throwing another junior agent into the mix.

Yeah, we'll see. Maybe she'll be brilliant on screen. I was just expecting someone a bit older, with a bit more gravitas. Like a Leslie Bibb type or something. Young, but with presence. The picture of this chick kind of strongly underwhelm me.

All in all I can't wait for my weekly Dunham fix though. I think that Fringe it's one of the few shows that I can take without really have a fav ship...just staring at Anna Torv for one hour make me happy lol Not even Leighton Meester can make that for me.

I really like the first pick, the second is great too, and the last does nothing for me. As for what role she'll be fulfilling, I'll wait and see. Hopefully, she's more than just a pretty face, but I don't see any archetype she could be playing that isn't already part of/useless to Fringe. Fingers crossed, because I fluv Fringe :).

This is my worry as well. It's like, the femslasher in me loves the idea of another female on the scene who is NOT related to Olivia, but at the same time I'm like 'why do they really need her on the show?'. I'll wait and see until she's actually on screen though to decide whether she's a waste of space or not.

Yeah, there's no 'it' factor shining through in those pictures. Though, she might be one of those actors/actresses that lights up on screen but is underwhelming in pictures, so I'll reserve judgment.

Also, the kissable works definitely work in her favor!

I'm right there with you. I was definitely expecting someone older. Like I'm not saying they needed someone in their 40s or anything, but I was expecting someone older, like a Leslie Bibb type or something. The pictures of this chick just really underwhelm me. But, she could blow me away when I see her on screen so I'll reserve judgment. Pictures of people have led me astray before, lol (ex. When I actually saw the actress they hired for Narcissa Malfoy act, I was really impressed with her. Visually, she's not a perfect match, but the woman is pretty badass which is wonderful for Narcissa).

Good point. That would be just plain cruel. I was so wound up in possible Olivia/Nina or Olivia/Rachel that I lost my common sense. But methinks that Astrid needs a friend. She has been slaving thanklessly for a whole season. And she deserves more of a character arc.
