The books are pretty quick reads. If you plow along at a steady pace you should probably be able to finish the series by the time the newest movie comes out.

I'd read the books before watching the movies as well, as I find the books to be far superior.

Ok so thanks to you I started watching LotS. I plowed through the first season to get to Cara, I mean the second season. Then when I finally got all caught up the show went on a 3 week break and I went into serious withdrawal. I didn't know what to do with myself without some Kahlan and Cara on my Saturdays. So very glad it's back and with some Denna action too!

I feel your pain! I went on a marathon just before the second season and finished just in time for the first episode. So the past few weeks have been the first I've had to go without LoTS on a weekly basis and I DON'T LIKE IT! I'm so glad it's back this week!

I will be very disappoint if Cara doesn't get some onscreen action with a girl this season. I know Cara/Kahlan is never gonna be the series OTP, but Cara/F is canon and I want to see it action.

That said, this episode better be full of girl-slash. Especially the interactions between Denna/Cara. It's too bad, Denna wants to kill Richard and Cara wants to save him, because those two have a lot in common and would be practically unstoppable as a couple. Sexy and untoppable.
