Now this is the Lost Girl that I signed up for!

Because it's all that anyone cares about ... I am happy to report that this episode is FULL of Dr. Lauren (and she is glorious)!

- Aw, Bo wants to look pretty for her non-date with Lauren and Kenzi thinks that Bo's boobs are one of her best features!

- Bo and Dr. Lauren out drinking together is a thing of beauty. Drunk, relaxed Dr. Lauren is radiant and adorable. Also, the woman makes leaning against a bar insanely hot. It also amuses how obvious it is that Lauren wants to ride Bo like a rollercoaster. BUT WHY THE KISS-BLOCKING! This is two days in a row now!

- I continue not to understand what Kenzi's problem with Lauren is other than she's a doctor and Kenzi doesn't seem to like doctors. I did enjoy Bo defending her girl, and Kenzi being all like, "that's just because you want to see her naked girl bits".

- Dr. Lauren has a wonderful bedside manner. I'd be going to the doctor like every day if I was one of her patients.

-Kenzi, dude it's not like I want you to die from eating foot soup, but just turning up at a strangers house and then helping yourself to food without asking is really, really rude. Kenzi's ensuing 'foot soup, anyone got a mint, I'm a toe-sucking cannibal, at least usually when I put my foot in my mouth it's my foot' rant was pretty funny. Also, Lauren's exasperation with Kenzi was really cute.

- Bo is SO HOT when she kicks ass.

- "Don't worry, it's just a little eye-blood. Who hasn't had a little eye-blood before? I just sneezed too hard or something." LOL Oh, Kenzi, only you could turn bleeding from the eyes into a joke.

- Mm, sorry Kenzi but you suffering through a little eye-blood is totally worth it in order to hear Dr. Lauren deliver a lengthy speech in her sexy doctor talk.

- I like Dyson when he's acting as Bo's muscle and being a nurse for Kenzi (who seems to have reconsidered her position of being a member of Team Dyson. I hope he really gave her a t-shirt!).

- WHAT THE HELL SHOWCASE? How do you cut to a commercial right in the middle of Bo and Lauren talking while Bo leans sexily over her shoulder?????? FUCKERY SHOWCASE! I call FUCKERY!

- Oooh, look at Bo using her brain to convince Lauren to break and enter with her. And then Lauren getting her Sydney Bristow on and coming up with a cover for herself.

- TBH, Bo's slutty!secretary outfit and hair were pretty horrendous.

Lauren: Our chances of actually saving Kenzi go up if we're not caught.
Oh Lauren, you are so brainy and delicious.

Bo: If I can't succubus him then how am I supposed to get the information?
Lauren: You have more than enough charm on your own.
OH LAUREN! You are dreamy McDreamerson tonight.

Bo: I don't usually have trouble wrapping my mouth around things.

- I like Dyson in Big Brother role. He and Kenzi were all kinds of sweet in the park.

- DR. LAUREN YOU ARE BADASS! Damn son. I never knew gassing bitches could be so awesome!

- "Did I just wake up in Narnia?" OMG Kenzi I ask myself that all the time. Okay, no I don't, but I wish that I did.

- Bo Whatever-Her-Last-Name-Is: Sexually Confusing ... uh, Everyone Since 2010

- FUCK YEAH! DR. LAUREN! OMG THIS WOMAN IS AMAZING! I've never been so aroused by someone stabbing someone else in the neck with a syringe. Bo's appreciation of Lauren's badassery was also lovely to behold. And high-fiving each other ... aw, so cute.

- Damn, you'd think Kenzi would have learned about snooping in other people's shit after the foot-soup incident, but contracting a lethal disease isn't enough to make our Kenzi mind her own business.

- LOL Lauren going on about Bo feeding but not killing that dude. You know that all that is going on her Lauren's head is, "Finally I can get some! Oh, yeah, finally I'mma be able to save some humans and ride a succubus! Hells yeah, gonna git me some Bo!"

- Lauren, I love you and your social consciousness. Go on gurl, make the world a better place!

- Oooh, awkward. DYSON YOU FUCKING COCK-BLOCKER! Stop looking at Bo when Lauren is sexily rubbing her shoulders. UGH!

Preview for next week:

It looks like the week of Oct. 24th is gonna be freaky hallucination week on my TV.

Important things to note for next week: there was plenty of Lauren in the preview, there was a shot of Lauren and Kenzi kissing (it's clearly a hallucination, but still!), and the Dyson and Lauren pissing contest over Bo seems to be picking up speed with Lauren saying, "You don't like me very much do you?" and Dyson responding "It's not that I don't like you, I just don't trust your motives", and Lauren responding something along the lines of "I'm not interested in your trust".

Also interesting is the fact that Lauren had a bit of an attitude in the exchange with Dyson which makes me really curious about her past. She's gotta be a pretty tough bitch to have gotten involved with and survived among the fae for so long, and this weeks episode proved that she thinks well on her feet and is pretty formidable even without special powers.

Um, you guys seriously ... if you loved Lauren before this episode there are no words for how much you will love her afterward. She is, simply put, a thing of beauty.

In conclusion, Bo and Lauren are sexy and adorable together, and every episode should be the two of them going on wacky adventures together and drunkenly flirting. After so many episodes focused on the Bo/Dyson dynamic, the show really did a great job of showing off the chemistry between Lauren and Bo this week. They are honestly a chemistry explosion.

P.S. Sorry for how rambly this post was, this episode just rocked my socks.

I have been waiting on pins and needles to hear the good word on whether Lost Girl lived up to expectations. Thank god you don't disappoint, show. Oh, and thank you for doing a quickie recap, even though because of all the Lauren I'm skipping the exact details but I'm psyched anyway.

Damn, now I really can't wait to see the episode, the Lauren drought has been far too long and far too heinous!

I guess I'd better watch last week's episode first - your No-Lauren warning consigned it to the dusty shelf - at least this way I'll be forearmed with the knowledge of lots of the doc to come while I sit through all the Dyson nonsense.

The lack of Dr. Lauren has been horrible indeed, but the show really makes up for it with this episode. She is resplendent. I adore this character so much.

And, I'd almost say not to put yourself through the Lauren-less experience of last week and just jump in fresh with this episode. Lauren-less episodes are extremely frustrating, especially when they are heavy with Bo/Dyson chemistry-lite sex scenes.

Yeah, she was so adorable in that scene. I was amused when she was kinda pleased with herself and her face was like "Oh! I can't believe I just stabbed a guy in the neck with my syringe. YAY FOR ME! Look how awesome I am!"

Lauren honestly is luminous. It's ridiculous how much she lights up the screen and makes my loins throb, lol. This episode was the most enjoyable of all because of the high concentration of Lauren. Here's hoping she gets to play a similarly significant role in the remaining episodes.

And I loved how surprised and pleased she was with herself when she stabbed the security as well. Zoie Palmer's facial expression was pure gold. So adorable. And the "we might be able to sex soon" high-five = awesome!

Kudos for uploading that bar scene to youtube as well, because it rocked. I LOVED the way Lauren kind of dropped her head onto the back of the couch when Bo pulled back from kissing her. It was like you could see her trying to rein in her raging hormones. I felt so bad for her in that scene. I hope she's not Bo-blocked for so much longer.

I generally don't mind Kenzi, but she was really pushing my last nerve this episode. She was too Kenzi this week. There's a fine line with Kenzi and when she crosses it she can be really irritating.

Honestly, I kind of hated that Kenzi lived after being such a RUDE house-guest and RUDE patient, and RUDE friend while the sweet aswine lady died because she didn't have a succubus protector that could sex-mail a doctor into saving her life.

I'm really hoping that the slow burn of Bo/Lauren is setting them up as the real epic romance of the season. Certainly they seem to have more fun together (in a non-sexytimes capacity) than Bo and Dyson have, and Bo seems to have a certain respect for Lauren that she doesn't have for Dyson. But the fact that Kris Holden-Reid is a regular while Zoie Palmer is a guest star really worries me.

ZOMG! I just watched it and I all I can say is "Hubba hubba Lauren!" The woman looks smokin' in jeans. Also, the chemistry between Bo and Lauren is just entirely electric.
