Jean Grey/Emma Frost. Wow. Seriously just wow. I start to think about this story to write something about it and my mind gets blown all over again leaving me all stupified and unable to say anything but 'wow' and pet the story. First of all the characterization is superb. I could FEEL this characters. Both Jean and Emma (but especially Jean) are so achingly real, and the development of the relationship is so tender, and fragile and yearning that I was breathless at points. This story has turned me into a Jean/Emma for life ya'll. Seriously, it's crazy delicious, check it out. (And then we can all petition for a sequel, because trust me you'll want one!)

Oooh yes, a great story one of my favorites. Another truly wonderful comic book 'verse fic is the Gauguin Series by queenB. It's Jean Grey/Betsy Braddock and takes place after Scott's death. It can be found at:

for me jean grey is the fictional equivalent of julie andrews, whom i hate more than words could ever truly capture...she can't die enough for me...i wish she'd die some more so i can do a snoopy dance in my underswear whilst eating barbeque chicken and smokin' crack w/ whitney houston in a gas station restroom...maybe a fic like that can be written:

That might me the single awesomest confluence of words like ever. I think gas station is what tipped me over the edge from hyenna laughter to kinda painful wheezing.

The threat of anal rape is nothing compared to the LOVE i hold for you for Boondocks quotage! And even though I kinda like Jean, I'm gonna join in and say ... "Dear Jean, you are a bitch bitch ASS nigga. I heard that you came back from the dead after lots of people spent a whole lotta time killin' yo ass. That was a bitch move Jean, and I'm gonna keep coming after that ass until YOU PAY WHAT YOU OWE!" (God I love Riley!)

Seriously though, I hated Jean in the old FOX cartoon from my childhood, but then they hired Famke fucking Janssen to play her in the movies and the Jean lust started. And then X-Men: Evolution's Jean Grey was pretty cool and kinda gay, and now I like Jean. I'm only mildly ashamed of this ;)

it was late and my computer ate this bad ass post about season s6 buffy over at the comic book resource message board, which i pent like a whole hour composing...but i ain't mad...needless to say...i was a bit wired after that...hence the randomness of the post here...i wanted to at least live up to some of what i threatened i'd say...the root of my jean grey hatred steams from the comic book "x-factor"...she played my boy warren like a bitch while scott was still married to maddie...jean ain't nuthin' but a telekentic ho...buuuut i can totally dig the famke thing...anyhoo...glad you enjoyed the whole me making a total ass outta myself for your benefit, thing...;)
