just a distraction! you know where my heart ... and libido lies :D
*waits to be objectified some more*
Out of left field: murasaki1200 brought it up the similar vibe between Eva and Tippi Hedren below, which made me immediately think about how awesome would a young Tippi Hedron have been as young Narcissa Malfoy and Eva as young Bellatrix or Andromeda. I mean, how sweet would that have been? *sigh* Oh, such delicious mental images.
*gives sweet j a swat on the as*...how that for objectification??...*lascivious grin*...so um yeah, i need to watch that film again...that's one of the great things about hitchcock's movies, all the leading ladies are hot...mmm, kim novak in "vertigo" and eve marie st. in "north by northwest"...*dreamy sigh*...

Perfect. *sigh* Absolutely perfect :D

Okay, definitely going on the list. I've been on an old movie kick lately. I just finished watching "How to Steal A Million" (awww, so cute), and I've got the other movies you recommended on order from video direct, so I'll add another couple to my ziplist, lol.
i'm a hollywood classic fanatic...jetgirl has great taste in classic movies too, so you can ask her to chime in too...but if you want a list of my personal favs just let me know...oh and you know where my heart and libido lay too right...;)
I have no idea about Dior fragrances at all. All I know is Eva Green teh sex and that I kind of what to get Midnight Poison now, so obviously hiring her was a good call ;)
I'm not sure I get the whole 'poison' as the name of the line thing, when I hear poison the furthest thing from my mind is "I want to spray it all over my body" but that's why Dior is rich and sadly I am not, I guess.
She so needs to be in more movies. It's been a while since Casino Royale. sigh. She's got this icy good girl who can be wild thing going, kind of like Tippi Hedren :).
Oh, I know! I can't wait until The Golden Compass. Though there's a part of me that's glad she's not just making any old crap that comes her way. Such I catch 22, I want moar Eva, but I want quality Eva too!

So, true. I love that dark, teasing, mysteriousness about her. She's also got a dry sense of humor that makes me melt. Like she'll totally just fuck with reporters. Like on the Today Show they asked her if her name was pronounced "Eh-vah or Eee-vah" and she was all, "actually it's 'Uvah'" with a straight face and there was confused silence for a second which allowed me to laugh heartily. This also cracked me up:
Reporter: Your father is Swedish, but you grew in France. What is your relationship with Sweden?
Eva: I went there for the premiere of the Bond movie, but never before that. There is something very odd about Sweden and my father - he never speaks Swedish and never goes there. Very mysterious, maybe I have another family over there! A slightly tricky subject, Sweden, but I will definitely go there one day.
The Tippi Hedren comparsion is also great. I'm slightly more captivated by Eva, but they do have very similar vibes going on. *sigh* Tippi Hedren from 1963 and Eva Green from the present are now like my dream Narcissa Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange.

I didn't know she was going to be in that. Looking forward to it now.

Funny stuff :D. Her 'naughty' girl vibe is much stronger than Tippi Hedren's, hence the additional fascination ;).
