Gossip Girl 1x03 - Poison Ivy

Oh Gossip Girl how I love thee ...

Highlights:

Blair and Serena in short skirts rolling on the grass together with Serena ending up straddling Blair = Awesome

Blair in gym class playing field hockey with a fabulous diamond studded belt on = Awesome

Serena getting all in Blair's face, hair falling in front of her face hissing "Had enough yet?" = Awesome

Serena and Blair's general level of obsession with each other = Awesome

Blair's utter and complete doucheyness = Awesome

Erik schooling Blair = Awesome

Serena and Blair meeting in Central Park = *pile of goo*

Lowlights:

Whatever, Serena straddled Blair ... the episode was pretty much over for me after that (until the end that was).  Sometimes I forget their are other characters.


OT:  Jamie doing one handed pull-ups on Bionic Woman + work out montage  + Michelle Ryan's abs + annoying doctor boyfriend being dead = awesome

Okay. I am going to hunt down these two shows right now. (I totally was going to give up on BW last week because I totally hated that doctor bf. But if he's really, really dead, then, I am giving this another shot.)

I missed the beginning of BW this week, buy the 40 minutes or so I saw were pretty good. I think Michelle Ryan, Sarah Corvis was back, I still have a strange attraction to Molly Price, and the fight scenes were good. With no more annoying doctor boyfriend, I'm totally in.

Yeah, Eric is pretty delightful and I love his relationship with Serena. Despite all odds the Van Der Woodsen children are good people.

I know, I the sexual tension was killing me during that field hockey game. I felt so bad for Serena, she just kept putting it out there and Blair was just unrelenting. I was beginning to fear for the les!yay (though the intensity of Blair's hatred made it pretty queer) so I was so happy when Blair showed up at the end (and that she knew instinctively where to find Serena. So gay).

And yes, on BW the annoying doctor really is dead and it makes the show so much better!

Luckily my 'hot chicks kicking-ass' fetish allows me to sit through a lot of shows to watch said hot chicks kicking ass, so BW's lack of brilliance doesn't put me off too much. I've watched far, far worse than this, and after the lack of 'hot chicks kicking-ass' shows with the death of Alias, I'm just glad to have one on the air that isn't PKJ.

I love the hand-holding in the first pic, and the heads together in the last one *swoon* Mostly I like how delighted they look, and Leighton smiling, OMG I didn't know she could do that, lol. The Leighton smiling pic is totally gonna be what I picture Blair and Serena being like in the good old days.

Also love the 'Yeah, she's hot and she's mine!' (http://www.gossipgirlonline.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=245&pos=13) expression on Leighton's face here and Blake's grinning, "yeah, it's true, she's my bitch" smile.

oh yeah, Leighton have a beautiful smile and in RL she smiles a lot (at least on interviews I have seen) Blair is always so serious and proper. Like a doll.
I want SO bad to see that MTV's program, with the two of them. I'm hoping that someone could be kind enough to upload it at Youtube or something.

1) Gossip Girl is spectacularly awesome.

2) BW is, against all expectations, actually watchable (maybe because I didn't have any?) But Michelle Ryan be hot.

ahhh, super kawaii! Thanks for the link. I loved the interview, they're so cute together. Leighton answering for Blake when they were asked what music they were listening to now was awesome. And them being all huddled together whispering to each other during the video was so great.

Great, now I'm a Blake/Leighton RPF shipper as well as a Serena/Blair shipper.

Also, Leighton's way more mellow and cool then I was expecting. She's always playing bitchy characters so it was nice to see her smile and laugh and be friendly.

You will not be disappointed. The pilot is just okay, but every episode since then as gotten increasingly more delicious. Plus Serena and Blair are made of win.

they are really cute together. somehow they remind me of Kristin Chenoweth & Idina Menzel - not because they look like them but the way they interact.
