Dollhouse character news...

Show Description: the series depicts a group of blank-slate secret agents who get different personalities, abilities and memories installed in her brains for each mission; all these attributes are also wiped away at mission’s end. The focus of “Dollhouse” is an operative named “Echo” (Eliza Dushku), whose memories somehow don’t get wiped away quite as thoroughly as those of her colleagues.

What Really Matters: It stars Eliza Dusku and was created by Joss Whedon and will therefore be awesome (and quickly canceled)

ADELLE DEWITT - The fortyish iceberg who runs the Dollhouse where the human Etch-a-Sketches reside

PAUL BALLARD - The thirtysomething G-man who is slated to become an offbeat love interest for Dushku's "impressionable" Echo

BOYD LANGTON - Echo's handler and father figure

TOPHER BRINK - The technogeek who enjoys his job as a Doll programmer maybe a little too much

SIERRA - The knockout Doll who is as close to a friend as Echo has

I know what you're thinking, "Where's Anthony Stewart Head's name?" but I think he's too iconic in the Buffyverse for him to basically come on board playing Giles v. 2.0.

I'm getting more excited about this show the more I hear about it. The only thing that makes me want to cry is that it's on FOX.

So I just want to squee about how excited I am that Eliza's coming back to TV. Seriously, FOX is trying to take over the world right now (my world at least) House, Bones, T:SCC, and Dollhouse! That's an amazing amount of hotness on one network.

However, like you said, the only think making it less exciting is that it's on FOX. With the way they've shafted me before on many other shows (and hey, they've done it to both Joss AND Eliza...good lord!) I'm just crossing my fingers this gets a fair chance.

As for my idea for the cast...I will think about that and get back to you.

Yeah, I can't say how many shows I've lost to FOX's idiotic decisions. *sigh* Hopefully they'll realize what they've got on their hands this time. I mean after the Firefly debacle they have to realize how hardcore Whedon fans are and that they have a built in dedicated audience. Not to mention that with Eliza there, every lesbian on the planet will be tuning in! ;)

I know! Can you imagine Faith and Inara on screen together. The femslash this would generate would be crazy. I mean, this show is gonna generate tons of femslash anyway with Eliza being involved, but it would be particularly satisfying with these two!

*sigh* I love the Zeta-Jones. She was one of the original girl!crushes. I own "The Haunting" of DVD because of her and routinely re-watch it. If only she would do television. She would be perfect for either Adelle or Claire.

So true, so very true. I hate that FOX gets all of these cool shows, because I'm always in this horrible position of feeling excitement and dread. Then I fall in love with the shows and their canceled before they reach double digits for episodes.

Stacy Haiduk (the eyes! the eyes!)

Stacy just did a stint on All My Children and each and every time she was on screen (when I wasn't thinking that she was way too good for the show) I was mesmerized by her eyes. Her and Vera Farmiga have that effect on me.

There is so much pretty going on in your list, that it's hard for me to think properly to come up with a list of my own. I do know that when I first read about the characters, the first person that popped in my head for Sierra was Morena Baccarin, so there you go.

Oh and thank you so much. The whole time I was watching Cloverfield I was trying to figure out who Jessica Lucas reminded me of and now I know. So thank you, I may never get my time back from that movie, but at least that question is finally answered.

Stacy just did a stint on All My Children and each and every time she was on screen (when I wasn't thinking that she was way too good for the show) I was mesmerized by her eyes.

Oh, I know. I'm always captivated by them. I watched all of her scenes on "Kindred the Embraced" in a lust-filled stupor. She was a magnificent vampire.

I love Morena for Sierra, and you know that Joss loves Morena too so I like that this one is actually a possibility.

I honestly thought this was a rumor when I first read about it. *glee* Eliza is fairly talented, and she does so great with the snappy banter and bad-girl-I-will-kick-your-ass-while-emotionally-vulnerable roles. If this is as good as it could be and Fox cancels it, I'll cry. I'm already pissed half my favorite new shows are gone.

*scans the list* Ha, you have Ashley Scott and Dina Meyer listed, much love for that. They seriously needed to do more BoP. And oh yes, Garcia would be PERFECT as November! *daydreaming*

But - but there's no Michelle Rodrigez in the list! xD I have no idea who she'd be, but it'd be so awesome to see if she can pull off the snark. Plus, her and Kris Loken would be femslash!ahoy. And it would HAVE to be better than BloodRayne. ^^

and just bring the whole BSG cast over to it and it will be a brilliant cast :D
