Okay, Riley's hair as they entered the hotel room = HA. I love that Jesse looks like she just stepped out of a magazine and Riley was all Mad Max: Beyond Thuderdome'd out.

"I'm not much for technology." lol, it cracks me up what a cranky old woman Sarah sounds like sometimes. Also, she was like "yeah, thanks. I totally needed to hear that," after the layd said she was going to pee.

Is she a dude? Yep, she's a dude. She's a real femmy looking due though. The woman-pretending-to-be-a-man-pretending-to-be-a-woman thing wasn't that convincing when Julie Andrews did it, and it's no convincing now (actually, this chick was a little more convincing ... but at least Victor/Victoria had some kickass musical numbers to make up for it. I suppose Tank!top!Lena is this episodes musical number). Thick eyebrows are in, they fierce (see: Camilla Bell, JConn, Filippa Hamilton), they will not make a chick look like a dude, just like Brooke Shields.

She's still no Michelle Forbes though, cause I loved me some Cain psycho as she was, and I want to pimp-slap Jesse, like I'm ... well, Jesse pimp-slapping Riley, most of the time.

Well, you know, as the saying goes - if loving Jesse as a predatory killing machine is wrong... 'Cuz you know she totally hit that and was all 'baby, we need to work on your seduction techniques, here, let me teach you about oral'. Plus, I love how her plan to use Riley to get John away from Cameron is going to have the cumulative affect of doing THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! John's in for a serious fall from grace and I'll probably enjoy it a bit more than I'm supposed to since he's acting like a complete douchebag these days. But finding out Riley was/is a plant is going to be such a MIND FUCK!

Dude, seriously, that one scene where she's sitting outside with UFO chick and her hair had that 'freshly fucked' look. I was like - damn, what I wouldn't give to be a comb on *that* set. I mean, is the Director going up to Hair and Makeup and going all 'No! NO! She's not supposed to look like she just woke up, she's supposed to look like she just spent all night banging Cameron!'?

Anyway, as for the episode, I really liked it. I love the idea of the entire UFO phenomenon actually being robots from the future and not aliens. I also love how Sarah can go up to complete strangers and they're all like 'I don't know who you are, strangely intense lady who kinda scares me, but sure I'll do whatever it is you want me to because you're really fucking hot (and this may lead to me getting into those tight jeans)!'.

Another thing that made this episode good? ZERO Derek. Didn't notice he was gone and certainly didn't miss him.

This is exactly the scene I was watching when I wrote that unfability thing. I mean, the hair was amazing throughout, but in this scene in particular I was like, "Damn Sarah, I need you in my pants! Now!"

All throughout the episode I was thinking, "This is really enjoyable. Why is it so enjoyable?" and then I realized. No Derek. Very welcome after last weeks Derek overload. Even the future scenes were tolerable without him.

Liked this episode a lot. It might've been a lot to do with a lot of pretty girls on screen instead of the plot, though.

Also, that MTF wasn't MTF? I'm kinda pissed that they always use women in the roles of MTF. I guess it's technically correct but a true MTF would be so much more awesome (if she could act). I was just constantly amazed how good the transition was and what do you know, it wasn't.

This. It's like, as much as I enjoy seeing Famke Janssen and Rebecca Romijn on my tv screen, how often it is done is pretty insulting (but then again it is Hollywood). It's like there are trans actresses out there, and they would like work people. It's kind of reminding me of the New Moon debate right now, where ppl are (rightfully) complaining about Summit casting a non-native for like the one major Native role in the movie.

It's why I've started watching "Merlin" after all (which I think you would life for some reason. Arthur/Merlin are totally OTP. Like it's in the mythology of the show that they complete each other.)

LOL actually I've thought of mentioning Merlin to you at some point. It's totally completely awesomecake. I actually cried when Merlin told Arthur he was leaving for the last time. The dialogue took me completely by surprise. Just so beautiful. Arthur/Merlin is so heartwarmingly gay that it makes me giggle most of the time. And of course there's Katie McGrath, who's about the hottest woman on TV at the moment. I don't know why but the people seem "real" and the monsters are actually scary even as CGI. I thought it would be total camp-fest, which it is, but not in a way I imagined. I'm quite impressed with the writing, and of course the always great Anthony Head.

I'm getting totally into it. I'm only on the fourth episode now, but I'm like cursing that I have to work cause I wanna do a marathon and just bask in the Merlin-y goodness.
