Ada Wong to Appear in Resident Evil: Retribution

Cause if it just means another kick-ass female in the franchise, then *high five* PTB!  But if it means no Jill ... I'm done.

Okay, not really.  This series is movie!crack to me and I probably couldn't stay away if you paid me.  But ... I thought Sienna was confirmed?  And they set Jill up as the Big Bad at the end of Afterlife, so what's gonna happen with that? It's like no Jill, no Claire (you know that as an Alice/Claire OTP shipper I'm crying endless tears) ... I feel like I don't even know this franchise anymore!

But ... Maggie Q for Ada?  Y/Y? (as long as it doesn't interfer with Nikita filming, which it probably will)

When Blastr posted the Ada Wong news, their write-up made it sound pretty definite that Jill is 'MIA' for this movie. :(

Oh man. Please please please let there be Claire in this movie. Claire/Alice is like my drug right now. Totally addicted.
Also, I don't understand why they wouldn't put Jill in RE5. Without her, the ending of RE4 would be totally pointless.

It would make absolutely no sense for Jill and Claire to not be in the fifth movie. Jill was set up as the big bad (wearing the outfit from Resident Evil 5 to boot) in the "hidden" scene in the credits and Claire's been a driving force for two movies now. You can't break up the dynamic (not to mention the perfect chemistry that means she and Alice are ~partners).

I'd see it anyway because I'm a shameless fan, but it would ruin a lot of the experience, not to mention shooting continuity in the face.

I just read on Millas Twitter that Sienna (Jill) just signed the contract for the new movie... so jill will be def back... no idea how big her role in the movie will be tho... but at least some good news. ^^
