Happy Nikiturday!

I am gladdened to report that this episode is awesome and features a pleasing amount of Zoie Palmer (doing all sorts of things to make your pants happy!)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS SHOW! FUCK YOU SHOW YOU EVIL GENIUS!!! That fight sequence was a dream!?!?!?!?! That was a goddamn dream!?!?!? But that was the best shit. And now you're following it with this overlit basic bullshit??? Ugh. Nathan and Alex are the worst. Yes, worse than Mikita. Show *shakes head at show* Show, you giveth so much and then you taketh away.

ZOIE PALMER! Just seeing her name instantly makes me feel better.

LOL! I love that Alex is like a teenager pitting Mommy and Daddy against each other. The Michael/Nikita/Alex family is kind of amusing. Mother and daughter are always gonna win. Nikita can't say no to her little girl.

Nikita's outfits are always so ridiculous. If Maggie wasn't so gorgeous I'd end up rolling my eyes constantly, instead of just shaking my head and sighing, "Oh, Nikita".

LOL I LOVE SNARKY NIKITA. "Moonlighting" is definitely the dynamic for Michael and Nikita. They're so much better that way then when they're trying to be lovey dovey.

Honestly though, Nikita's plan is pretty fucking risky. Bitch is betting a lot of people's lives on the belief that she's awesome.

The fight between Zoie (Anya) and Nikita in the stairwell, really reminded me of the fight between Krista and Chase in the las episode of Blade, so I am now convinced that Nikita and Anya could have awesome hate!sex. ALSO I AM SO SAD THAT DR. HOT PANTS WILL PROBABLY NEVER GET A HARDCORE FIGHT SEQUENCE BECAUSE ZOIE PALMER IS FIERCE! Seriously, I'm talking Abbie Cornish as Sweat Pea levels of sexual excitement when watching her fight. Amazing.

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CHAIRS IN NIKITA'S LOFT? (this is bolded because it's an important question!)

Alex: I asked myself, what would Nikita do?
OMG! These two are so in love with each other. I dig it. THEY MAKE EACH OTHER BETTER! Also, Lyndsy, I LOVE you for making that scene all about making meaningful eye-contact with Nikita.

Why did they have to ruin this nearly perfect episode with a vomitous Mikita scene near the end? I don't like them together! *wah wah wah*

Jaden and Percy make me uncomfortable because I enjoyed their evilness. It's the first time, imo that Xander Berkley has managed to have some kind of chemistry with someone on this show.

Favorite random detail: After knocking out Anya (aka Terrorist Hotpants), Nikita shows up at the party in the same blue dress Anya was wearing. Hence, she stripped her naked.

OMG! I was so distracted by hot they were fighting, and then giggling over Nikita's snarky "can you hear me now?" that I totally didn't register the dress switch and the sexy nudity implied by it.

Well, they did say Percy was interested in her. Anya will probably get recruited by Division and become Nikita's arch-rival... and she'll try to corrupt Alex too, because why not?

I really do hope that Percy mentioning a previous interest in Anya means that we'll see her again. I would love it if she could become an Anna Espinosa or Sark type of character for this show.

However, the most consistent thing about Lost Girl was how it disappointed me and how it woefully underused Zoie Palmer, so I cannot allow myself to hope that we'll get a scene of Lauren physically kicking someone's ass.

Despite my Debbie Downer-ing, I am looking forward to Lost Girl coming back on the air though. The Doccubus that it throws at me, Dr. Hot Pants and Kenzi's general awesomeness is enough to keep me hooked.

And sadly, Zoie isn't a regular on Nikita. This is the only episode she's been in so far, but since her character doesn't die, I'm going to hope she'll pop up again sometime.

OMG, that processing icon! LOVVVEEEEE. And it's so how I feel about those too.
And honestly I feel like all the mikita fans gripping to get their couple together has actually fucked their ship over, the writers even admitted to putting them together faster than intended. And in the 2 episodes they've been together they've already resorted to being a bickering old married couple. And okay great, there's sweetness and they've like a "regular couple in love," which great for long and all, but on a fast pace show like Nikita it just completely halts the flow of the show and ruins the whole pacing of the episode. Mikita isn't even so much annoying as it is just completely boring now.

But onto the much better aspects of this episodes. Return of Fierce!Protective!Nikita. Alex>>>>>>Division, Michael apparently did not get the memo.

And is "be/stay strong" code for something? Cause seriously the way the phone goodbye got played out and then the hug with the broken voice stay strong. What the hell does "strong" mean in NAX (ha, its my coined for those 2, i'm running with it) world???

And yes, I love Lyndsy so much for the fierce strut to Nikita followed by the "you, what would Nikita do" and then the intense eyestare of "OUR fight"

What I also love? Her little facial eyeroll to Michael at the beginning when Nikita gets mad at him and walks away, and Alex follows. Ha, Alex got the memo that Michael is useless, maybe she can pass it along to Nikita, that'd be nice. Cause um yea, how was he useful in this episode?

I also want to know, why was Alex wearing a gay sweater vest in the end?

I was SO happy to see the return of Fierce Protectress Nikita! FP!Nikita is an instant panty dampener. Alex>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>EVERYTHING! is pretty much how Nikita's mind works, and I love that. When she first met Alex, she probably wouldn't have been willing to go with such a desperate plan, but now ... now protecting Alex is her biggest concern.

It's code for "I love you." I'm not even joking about it. I think it totally fits Nikita's personality that as much as she loves Alex (and in canon she does clearly love her, though it's supposed to be in a platonic/sisterly way) she can't actually say that out loud.

First off.. Michael, you have to be the *dumbest* man on the face of the planet. Seriously, you want to 'believe in' the agency that KILLED YOUR WIFE AND CHILD to get you to join!! Because you wouldn't join an agency that was totally evil. Jeez, why not buy some stock in Halliburton while you're at it. I know the show has to find a way to keep Michael in Division but, really, this was the best they could come up with.

Other than that, this ep was like girl-wood-palooza! And I have to believe that Zoie Palmer is coming back or else they would have killed her. Wait.. she is coming back, right? RIGHT!?!

I'm believing that too! Not only did they not kill her, but they made a point of Percy mentioning that he had tried to recruit her once. I'd love it if they ended up getting Zoie back in the second season for a recurring role (like this shows Sark or even Anna Espinosa).

I'm beginning to think that they reason the writers didn't have Alex and Nikita interact during the first two Mikita episodes was because they didn't want to have Mikita juxtaposed with Nalex, because it would be obvious how much more chemistry Nalex have together.

This! I really enjoyed the two of them together. I hope that now that Jaden is an agent we get more Alex/Jaden. I really want to see how that relationship progresses (and the fact that they are unintentionally gay for each other all the time doesn't hurt!)

I did actually! (well, part of it anyway). I had no idea she was guest-starring so when I saw her, I was like heard angels singing. It was such a LOVELY surprise.

Because they have chemistry out the butt! They are hot together. It's in a scary hate-filled way with occasional bouts of respect (though I hope to see them actually become friends), but it is hot as hell. Lyndsy and Tiffany have a lot of chemistry together. I'm there with you on the Jalex train! Plus, Jaden is an agent now so they can have dates (and by dates I mean hot sex in Alex's apartment) now!
