So, my body has decided to rebel against me today, yay ... wait, nay! Boo, boo, sucks to your asmar body, sucks to your asmar! I also have a buttload of marking that I get to do while feeling like absolutely ass, which means I probably don't get to go to the casino tonight like I had planned. Double nay!

Anyway, even though I'm awake earlier than normal on a weekend because of the feeling like ass thing, and I was anticipating a no good, very bad day. I saw this ... and now I'm looking forward to the day with a smile on my face. Oh, Lokinator *fist scoop* you're the greatest.

I was waiting the whole episode for her to show up. When that lady came over to talk to Shane, I was like "Damn you lady! I don't need to see that kids crappy picture, I came for the Loken!" The PTA meeting and the basketball game were the only times I perked up all episode.

But, yeah it looks like we'll get more Paige this week and in a black bra no less so I can't complain.

Well, we haven't seen the Jared yet, but I'm guessing that it's Paige's son in the background. I hope it's not just some random neighbourhood kid and she's walking around in her unmentionables in front of him. I mean, in the real world she probably wouldn't wander around in front of her own kid in a bra and panty set, but this is the L Word so ... well, maybe it is a random neighbourhood kid since this is the L Word. In any case, Casa de Sobel has totally got be the hot spot for all the neighbourhood boys.

I ... I don't know. Shane's appeal is completely lost on me. I mean, she's like a cute teenage boy with her skinny jeans and lazy skateboard attitude, but that's just not all that sexy. I'm also not a fan of Shane love scenes (except ones with Carmen) cause, once again, Shane in action (and unclothed) not that sexy. Pretty, much it's all on the Lokinator to bring the sexy, but I have faith in her!

Shane is cute enough but I find her don't care about anything attitude a little offputting. It's hard to care about a character like that. She's actually been more relateable this season because she actually seems to care about her brother.
Ashley is a much more interesting character that way. She only pretends not to care, but really she does, which is a lot easier to relate to.

Word. Shane is like, just there. She doesn't engage in anything so it's hard to be invested in her. I care more about the characters that I don't even really like because of this, but Shane's just this emotional void. She is better this season like you said though. In the episode when she went back to talk to the principle I actually kind of liked her.

So true. I think Ashley is what Shane was supposed to be like, but failed at being (only with less blazers and better hair). Like Ashley is totally messed up and has abandoment issues, and is a chick magnet and promiscuous, but even when Ashley fucks up I feel sorry for her and want to give her a hug, and know where she's coming from. And she never kind of loses that sexy girl edge. Whereas Shane just seems to have no internal life. I don't 'get' Shane in the least. Which is why there will probably be no Loken from me until Painkiller Jane.
