HEY, PSST!  LEGEND OF THE SEEKER ...




THIS EPISODE CONTAINED ONE OF THE GREATEST SCENES EVER ON TELEVISION

That scene between Kahlan and Cara was out of this world.  My god, it was like fucking porn.  Tabrett's face was amazing!  Cara's glee incredible.  They had Cara kneeling between Kahlan's legs with her Agiel between Kahlan's thighs!  Then when I thought the scene couldn't get any better, Cara got all gleefully proud of Kahlan and was looking at her like she just wanted to lick her up with a spoon!  And then, then Kahlan's world is so rocked she faints, and Cara's all puppy-dog-like "Kahlan?" cause she's worried she's broken her boo. 

Honestly, Tabrett's expressions throughout that entire scene were amazing.  I want to have that woman's babies.

ALSO, CARA IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY ADORABLE! 

First of all, I love that both Richard and Kahlan have learned to "speak Cara".  I was all like, "awwwww" when Richard knew that Cara saying she was glad he 'wasn't going with them because he'd only slow them down' meant that she was just worried about him.  And Kahlan's little smile when Cara was all like "The wizard fought well" made me melt, cause she knew it was Cara's way of expressing her sadness and respect for Zedd. 

And, then, .... and then .... and then ... Cara's concern for Kahlan with her wounded legs made me swoon!  She was all like, "Stay here my love, and I shall go fetch horses for us!".  And then her, "I'm feeling very tired, I need to rest," practically had me jittering with love.  She understands Kahlan.  And she willingly made herself appear weak to protect her favorite lady!  d'awwwwwwwwwwwwww x forever.

DEN - NA!!!!!!!!!  OMG, I did not see that shit coming.  I was like, "omg, I want to see redemption!Denna" and then BANG! arrow through the heart, and overkill fall over edge of cliff to drive the point home that the bitch is really dead this time, okay!  And I was all like, "God, Cara.  How so badass?" but I was also like, "Boo, you whore.  You killed Denna."  DAMN YOU LEGEND OF THE SEEKER TOYING WITH MY EMOTIONS SO!

The eyeliner on Bridget was OUT OF CONTROL this episode.  It was ridiculous, but I loved it.  I can't even look as glam as her with all of the modern amenities, yet somehow Kahlan "Mutha'fucking" Amnell manages it while sleeping in the woods?  But, whatever, I don't care because the combination of the eyeliner, Kahlan's new battle gown, Cara's dildos of pain, and rockin' soundtrack gave this episode one of the most kickass fight scene I can remember seeing in a while!  Kahlan and Cara are like poetry in motion together.  I loved their little adventure together.  They make quite a dynamic duo!

Also, just to reiterate, I officially really, really enjoy Kahlan's new battle gown!  And I especially adore the way it show of Bridget's amazing, powerful, wonderful legs when she's fighting.  RAWR.  It's a keeper, for sure.

NEXT WEEK:  T'Pol!  Looking amazingly and incredibly like Angelina Jolie starring on an episode of Relic Hunter!  Incredible.  Can't wait.

Seriously, this episode was composed of so much sqee-tastic moments.  I love it.  I want fan vids.  So good.

She did in the books too, but Tabrett just makes her THAT MUCH BETTER!!!

And the fact that Denna's "subtle persuasion" is smashing something with a rock made me LOL

(Also, T'Pol was one of my faves from Star Trek, so I'm excited, because Nicci is one serious badass bitch/witch with issues)

Gah! The new ep of LotS doesn't air until Sunday here, unless I download it which I'm totally doing at the moment. So your LotS posts are like waving bags of spoiler filled crack in front of my face.

The other day I realized I was watching a show on TV and that it was this one. Only saw the last few minutes though but they were pretty, brunette (Cara, I think?) filled minutes.

Oh come on. She fell into water and they couldn't find the body, so she might've well as jumped up and written "Still alive, bitches!" in lipstick on Kahlan's horse. OR the Keeper could resurrect her. She's only going away when she gets her own spin-off, "D'Hara After Dark With Mistress Denna."

And good lord, did some of the ghey from Bitch Slap work its way through the big incestuous Raimi troupe and into this? Because it's seriously like Cara is poking Kahlan with her Agiel every chance she gets, both because she finds it really hot and because she wants to see if Kahlan can take Mord'Sith'Sex. Pretty soon, she's gonna be like 'Say, Kahlan, how far can you bend?' and 'Kahlan, do you ever think we just like boys because we're supposed to?'

I doubt Denna is truly dead, or they would just completely ruin the lovely setup for both humane but understandably evil villainess. At least I hope she's not. Ok, not so humane except from my twisted perspective. One has to consider what torment a young girl goes through in order to get turned into a Mord-Sith. Also the desire for love and acceptance being biologically stamped painfully strong into the collective genome of the social animal.

You know who gets paid the big bucks in this show? The dude who casts all the girls. Plot? What plot? Just look at all the pretty girls (oh god, Bridget in this episode... words can not express) who can also act some to maintain the suspension of disbelief. I have to admit though, even if Richard is slowly becoming more powerful than God in a way that is nothing but self-parody, I am interested of this particular plot-thread.

Watching this show is like walking on the moon; it's kinda cool and awesome if you just don't look down and see that it's all made out of... cheese.

While Jolene made an ok vulcan in Trek, I thought Enterprise was mostly crap. It had no ambition. At all. All the stories were completely pedestrian. Then again my fav trek is DS9, maybe I'm just weird.

I also loved that smile Kahlan did just before she fainted, it was so, 'Yeah I did it, didn't I?' So adorable.

I remember watching some interviews of Bridget and thinking, 'Damn, she looks good with eyeliner on. Too bad they can't make Kahlan have that look' And then BAM. Thank you LoTS Make-up people! Maybe if I keep on hoping that Cara/Kahlan happen, it'll come true too.

Richard irked me this episode, or rather TPTB's attempts to make him interesting by throwing more super-powers and stupid supporting characters (the male one, anyway) at him. I kept thinking 'forget about him, take me back to Cara and Kahlan or Zedd and Denna!' because those two-somes rocked.

Despite the fall of overdone doom, I'm guessing Denna will be back, possibly as a bayling, and I can't wait. She's the Callisto of the LotS world.

Kahlan, Cara, dildo and woods, I think that might be the perfect combination. Kahlan's determination to appear tough and Cara's joy at said toughness was wonderful, and I just loved the faint and concerned little 'Kahlan?'

Great scenes between those two, again, I hope TPTB continue the trend and we get to see more bonding, fighting and fun with agiels.

The show drives me soooooo crazy because of its flipped around storyline... but damn if Tabrett and Bridget don't keep my eyes glued to the screen the entire time.

I'm glad they're feeding us the "subtext" (if you can call it that) like it's a buffet. Sword of Truth/LotS just isn't the same without some lesbians wanting to mack on each other like they're canon.

As a Kahra fan, damn, this episode was beyond AWESOME!

1st. when I realized Kahlan's new outfit is burgundy, kind of like Cara's... I fainted.
2nd. when Richard goes with the Sisters of Light and it's KAHRA time!

I was applauding like crazy at this moment.

Kahlan and Cara fighting together. I think global warming increased during that scene and, when Cara heals Kahlan. My brain stopped functioning. Tabby's expressions, priceless. And then her smile after healing Kahlan, just... Cara has genuinely smiled! with Kahlan! I mean, can this be more LOVELY?

Wouldn't you know it...In the middle of watching that 'agiel it to me, baby' scene for the 50th time, Rosey Palm and her five friends showed up and we had a little party...funny how that always happens... ;-)

Seriously though, that episode was super sweet. I'm sure the producers are well aware of the power of subtext since from their Xena days. I was convinced of it once I that little scene in Ressurection when Cara apologized to Kahlan's sister and Kahlan got all dreamy eyed, sort of. We are probably going to see some supped up subtext in the next few episodes.

I remember reading an articles, I'll try to find it, where Bridget Reagan remarked that one of the bigger storylines this season, and the one she finds most interesting, is the Kahlan/Cara relationship. I'll be crossing my fingers that her definition of 'intersting' is like mine, i.e. hot monky sex!
