But for me, the best thing about the episode was Bridget Regan's arms!

In addition to Bridget Regan's arms, I'm also currently obsessed with Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard.

So much word. Cara killed me in this scene. That one smile in particular she gave in the middle of the fight made me weak in the knees. God, sex between those two would be so epically, epically hot.

BEST. EPISODE. EVER. 'Desecrated' is so slashy it's ridiculous - I haven't seen this much blatant subtext since XWP. You'll want to watch C/K's moments in the tombs many, many times :)

You made a VERY wise choice. I waited 3 weeks for the library's copy and had to talk myself into reading it after seeing all the bad reviews. Needless to say, KH took the last chance I gave her to redeem herself and shot it all to hell. I opine 'twas the presence of the thrice be-damned braggart Pierce that rightly doomed this tome to a place of wretchedness and misery. grrrr...It was beyond frustrating to have to deal with him throughout the whole book because in the beginning, KH had me believing she had redeemed Rachel's character, with Rachel supposedly coming to the realization that she shouldn't be with Pierce - he was too impulsive, a bad influence, yadda yadda. I was cheering inside that finally, finally! Rachel was starting to grow up and realize that she should ditch the badboys and settle down in a steady, loving relationship with the soulmate that she's been living next to for the last several years, but instead, Ivy gets kicked to the sidelines and it's all about the resurrected ghost. Needless to say, there is a point in the book that I wanted to dump bleach in my brain and burn the images away, but the only solution is to flip very very fast through that section. I have come to the conclusion that Ravy is no longer a feasible endgame and I shan't waste anymore time with KH's drivel.

ok 1: that fight scene was pretty much a watch-while-eating-popcorn-as-two-hot-girls-fight worthy.

2:I laughed on who clara looked so awkward in the hug Bridget's character gave her at first, and I can pretty much see the sigh of content as she closed her eyes and enjoyed it.

I was squeeing and wiggling in my chair and basically just eating up Cara's woobiness with a spoon. I love it when Cara is all emotionally vulnerable. I wasn't sure who I was more jello of in that scene, Cara for having Kahlan's lovely and powerful arms wrapped around her, or Kahlan for being able to give Cara a hug like all of fandom wanted to!

Oh god, don't get me started on the legs! the arms were really highlighted this episode so that's where my focus is now, but yes, I LOVE her legs too.

I'm beginning to think that the directors know they can only focus on ONE of Bridgets amazing features per episode lest they explode all of our brains. So we get boob episodes, then we get leg episodes, then we get sexy mascara eye episodes, and arm episodes.

Seriously, Bridget is like ridiculously gorgeous in every freaking way imaginable. She may be the perfect woman.

Am I the only one who could see Bridget as Rachel in a Hollow TV series or movie? I saw a picture of her with her red hair and her freckles were standing out and I thought "Oh you would be perfect for Rachel!" and then I thought "But then I would have to hate you because Rachel sucks balls and I don't want you to suck balls. Stay Kahlan because the only thing Kahlan sucks is the air out of my lungs when she whipping her hair around in a battle frenzy and I lose all breath!"

I could totally see Bridget as Rachel. With her red hair she's a spitting image. But like you, I've come to hate Rachel so much that I don't want her awfulness to taint Bridget. I never want to look at Bridget Regan and be annoyed and irritated, and whenever I think about Rachel I just want to hit something.

Kahlan is beautiful, inspiring, breathtaking, amazing, badass, sweet, kind, and all around a fantastic person. I just want to nibble her up!

My roommate and I (who ship Kahlan/Cara like whoa) just kept saying, "Is this really happening? I think it is!" throughout the entire episode. It was like... the perfect subtext wrapped and tied with a pretty ribbon reading "To: The the Fandom From: The Show + Bridget Regan's Arms."

I am amazed by the internet exploding about this episode as I am in awe of the episode itself. I love it all, hah.

Jesus fucking christ, you need to see this episode now! It is epic.

I mean, it's a filler ep with an evil mummy, but the Kahlan/Cara scenes are TO DIE FOR! They hug AND hold hands, and have sweaty sex fights with each other over who is the better girlfriend, and they have sweet heart-to-hearts and at the end Kahlan facepalms and grins at Cara like she's a super adorable kitten that Kahlan wants to pet and squeeze and play with forever!

I doubt it honestly. I think we'll probably see their friendship continue to grow (C/K friendship plotline is the most compelling on the show this season), but because Richard/Kahlan are such OTPs in book canon and show canon I doubt TPTB would ever really go down the romantic Cara/Kahlan route.

I honestly can't find it in myself to be too upset by that though, because the show is doing such a good job establishing how important C/K have become to each other and in showing how much they respect each other and how much closer their still becoming.

I understand your chagrin, but you know you love it! It's so effing addicting! I can't even explain the appeal of the books, just that they took over my life.

Em started out my favorite, but I had a falling out with her in the fifth book and she didn't redeem herself in the sixth (you'll see what I mean).

Oddly enough I have developed a strange fondness for Hanna, for Mike Montgomery, and Jenna "The Jenna Thing" Cavanaugh becomes a figure I'm intrigued by but never get enough of. And of course, it always needs moar Maya (not that that's gonna happen because the Pretty Little Liars love interests never get much coverage)

You're right, you totes can't see Bridget's face in the most amazing of the arm shots, and that footage actually showed that one of my favorite Bridget leg shots was Dayna too *kicking and screaming*

Still the picture in the top right corner shows me that Bridget's arms are still pretty amazing, even if I no longer think she could crush a walnut with her hands, lol. And we all know the boob shots are pure Bridget so I suppose I will be able to survive this devastating blow ;)

LOL Have you read all 7 books? I'm going to read the Pretty Little Liars books, or at least the first book to see if the series is any good. See, when I was little I read Goosebumps and Animorph books. I don't know which series makes me more of a giant gay.
