Everyone on the internet has already expressed how awesome and super gay "Desecrated" was, and what a dashing wooby Cara is and how perfect, and wonderful and gay the two of them are together.
But for me, the best thing about the episode was Bridget Regan's arms!

In addition to Bridget Regan's arms, I'm also currently obsessed with Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard.
Synopsis: (Book #1 Pretty Little Liars) Everyone has something to hide—especially high school juniors Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hanna. Spencer covets her sister's boyfriend. Aria's fantasizing about her English teacher. Emily's crushing on the new girl at school. Hanna uses some ugly tricks to stay beautiful. But they've all kept an even bigger secret since their friend Alison vanished. How do I know? Because I know everything about the bad girls they were, the naughty girls they are, and all the dirty secrets they've kept. And guess what? I'm telling.
Pretty Little Liars (Books 1-7)
I don't care that these books are like 150 pages long, are full of designer/brand name porn and were written for 13 year old girls. They are my crack!

Date: 2010-04-12 10:36 pm (UTC)Just took the books - I'm refusing to read the latest Hollows after reading the dismal lack of Ivy so I'll see if this will fill the void (as if...), 25 pages in and I'm already laughing at Emily's complete lack of subtlety! Thanks for the links :)

Date: 2010-04-13 02:52 am (UTC)BEST. EPISODE. EVER. 'Desecrated' is so slashy it's ridiculous - I haven't seen this much blatant subtext since XWP. You'll want to watch C/K's moments in the tombs many, many times :)
"...I'm refusing to read the latest Hollows after reading the dismal lack of Ivy so I'll see if this will fill the void (as if...)"
You made a VERY wise choice. I waited 3 weeks for the library's copy and had to talk myself into reading it after seeing all the bad reviews. Needless to say, KH took the last chance I gave her to redeem herself and shot it all to hell. I opine 'twas the presence of the thrice be-damned braggart Pierce that rightly doomed this tome to a place of wretchedness and misery. grrrr...It was beyond frustrating to have to deal with him throughout the whole book because in the beginning, KH had me believing she had redeemed Rachel's character, with Rachel supposedly coming to the realization that she shouldn't be with Pierce - he was too impulsive, a bad influence, yadda yadda. I was cheering inside that finally, finally! Rachel was starting to grow up and realize that she should ditch the badboys and settle down in a steady, loving relationship with the soulmate that she's been living next to for the last several years, but instead, Ivy gets kicked to the sidelines and it's all about the resurrected ghost. Needless to say, there is a point in the book that I wanted to dump bleach in my brain and burn the images away, but the only solution is to flip very very fast through that section. I have come to the conclusion that Ravy is no longer a feasible endgame and I shan't waste anymore time with KH's drivel.

However, this more than anything else has really killed it for me. At the beginning I honestly believed Ravy was the end game, and I just had to put up with the rain to get the rainbow. Now, Cock Block has just crapped up the characters to a point where I can't even see them together because I honestly loath Rachel.
Cara's facial expressions can best sum up the progression of my feelings towards The Hollows series ...
