The show is a bit of a mixed bag. It starts off pretty strong, and there are a few episodes that are AWESOME. But the last couple of episodes have been pretty dismal.
Kenzi and Saskia are GREAT though. Kenzi has gotten me through entire episodes with her one-liners. Lauren is also pretty great, but she gets next to no screen time.
Bo is Rachel Morgan (and not likable books 1-5 Rachel, Bo is Pierce banging Rachel)
For an urban fantasy fan though, I'd say it's worth checking out.
I had no idea about teh Richelle Mead series of books. As this story had nothing to do with that book series however, and is fanfic for an obscure Canadian show I don't think it'll be a problem.
Third, and this is where I once more show I'm a complete urban fantasy geek, the plural of succubus is succubi.
