So, I just got back from seeing it and the movie was  .... pretty okay.

I AM disppoint by the lack of A Pimp Named Lucius Malfoy (you gotta say it all at once, like A Tribe Called Quest).  I am also disappoint by the lack of that red-eye snake-nosed bastard Voldemort, and extremely disappoint by the lack of my favorite bitch Narcissa (yes, I am over the horrible casting.  Helena McCrory is actually a pretty charismatic actress and kind of hot when she's in motion, and I love Narcissa so much that I don't even care!)

In other bits of randomness ...

This is the first time in a very long time that I've actually found Anne Hathaway hot.  I now wish this was a movie instead of Shakespeare in the Park.

AnnaLynn McCord is hot but too close with her sisters (seriously, check out that second pic ya'll.  That's like ... Black Sisters close.  Toujours Pur, ladies.  Toujours Pur)

Emma Watson still looks 12 to me.  She models clothes well, but she still looks 12.  And no, you don't need to point out that I think she is hot as hell when she is younger than Emma and sometimes looks about 15 (and no, I don't know what the fuck she is wearing in that picture.  Just look at her beautiful face and ignore it).

I believe you Megan.  I think that she "did not know that was a child" and that she really couldn't see with all of those cameras going off in her face.  Also, I continue to find her really really hot (just in case you were wondering.  I know you probably were).

Do Not Want Shia to Yorrick Brown.  I do however think that he'd make a fine Yorrick.

I don't know how or why all these women were gathered together, but ... whenever I look at that picture I kind of feel like they a Justice League of female crime fighters.  And that thought makes me really really happy.  Ange is the HBIC, but I think that would be obvious.

These pictures from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland scare me sfm.  I'm a grown ass woman and I don't know if I can watch this movie and then sleep that night.

When did Narcissa become Rogue??? Is she gonna have a bad southern accent and green leotards too?  UGH!  I thought I couldn't have hated this casting anymore and now this comes out.  Seriously, I'm sure Helen McCrory is a fine actress and human being, but they should have just hired a fucking blonde (or at least someone who fakes being blonde well).  I mean, all we know about Narcissa is that she's blonde and Draco's mom, and now they've gone and fucked with half of that.

*sigh*  The only thing I can hope for is that there'll be more Narcissa in the movie than in the book since the studio has such a hard-on for Helen McCrory.  And that more Narcissa will translate to more Narcissa and Bellatrix on screen together.

*double sigh* At least HBC still looks like perfection.  And it also looks like Bellatrix and Narcissa are eye!sexin' in that pic, which is cool.

Helena Bonham Carter to Film HBP Scenes in Spring, 2008

While not yet officially confirmed by Warner Brothers, representatives for actress Helena Bonham Carter have said the actress would be reprising her role as Bellatrix Lestrange for the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film. In an article with The Independent, they discuss the actress, who is currently expecting her second child with husband, director Tim Burton. The reps say that that Helena Carter Bonham would be back filming the sixth Harry Potter film next year, with the article noting “her publicist said yesterday that Bonham Carter was not due back on the Potter set until the spring.”

Let me say, YAY! I was pretty sure she would be back, but it's nice to have it confirmed because really there's no other actress that could play Bellatrix for me now, and I needed to see the true Bellatrix on screen for the scenes with Cissy. Now, if they'd only announce who will be playing Narcissa I can commence squeeing like a fangirl.
