Wow! Sounds like working on The L Word is a total trip. I'm not really surprised. In fact - okay bear with me here, this is post beer bash and my thoughts are a little hard to focus :p - I was just thinking earlier today about this Spashley fic that's really written very well, and yet for some reason, I can't really connect with it. I realized it's because it's one of these lesbian ensemble fics with all the female drama that implies, which unfortunately I can only take in small doses. I'm always sad that I don't know more lesbians in RL, but when I hang out with too many lesbians, I end up feeling like I'm in an artificial environment where people have strange mental problems and downwardly mobile aspirations I cannot relate to. It sucks that the people I spend most of my time with have always been goal driven, overachieving guys - hazards of a geeky job - and it only makes the contrast greater. Anyways, Kris rocks for not putting up with that stuff. More power to her.
