Casual Kris rocks my world. Angela gets a gold star for figuring out what to do with Kris. No biscuit for Ilene. Last week's scenes with Paige were a little odd and sometimes cringe worthy. I will never be able to look at ruffles the same way. *shudders*
I don't that by Kris not returning we'll be missing out on any Shaige action either, because though they're cute I can't really see them lasting.
Unfortunately, I have to say *sobs* that I'm not seeing the attraction. KM doesn't act like Shane's into Paige at all as far as I can tell. She doesn't even seem comfortable in their scenes together. Not sure why Paige hit on Shane so hard in last week's ep, it seemed a little out of the blue. Her approach this week was much more sane. I guess there's the difference between IC's writing and AR's. Maybe if we get to spend more than 30 seconds at a time with them and their personality doesn't change every ep, we'll be able to get a feel for the connection.
I actually enjoyed the other storylines in this episode. It seems like all the main characters got involved and yet it didn't feel rushed. They got to be funny and to behave in a way that we could relate to: Bette, Shane, Alice and even crazy!Jenny. I wanted to hug her when she had to explain it all to the cute vet. Hats off to Angela.
