The Condemned Trailer = made of awesome

fembuckI just saw the trailer for The Condemned, yesterday and that movie looks like it's made of awesome!
Plot: The Condemned tells the story of Jack Conrad, who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.
Comments: This movie is like what Battle Royale would be like if everyone on the island was like a version of Kazuo Kiriyama, Mitsuko Souma, Kawada or Takako Chigusa. Which is to say that instead of having a bunch of whiney, useless, idiotic kids who cry and complain about how life isn't fair, and promise to be "for real friends" before tasering a bitch (actually, that was cool, but there was a lot of crying and hysterical shrieking to go along with that moment of awesome), this movie is populated by by nothing but bad-ass motherfuckers, who may also be really, really psychotic. I know, that sounds totally amazing, doesn't it?

Date: 2007-03-26 08:03 pm (UTC)I have a feeling this is one of those movies where I'm probly gonna laugh when people die so to avoid staring from people that will take this movie seriously it'll probly be a DVD viewing for me too.
I'm really looking forward to this since most movies are crazies killing annoying innocent people. This one's crazies killin' crazies and it's as refreshing as sniffing Irish springs soap.
