i too especially loved Stanna's ultra butch edginess and want to see more of it.

It's teh sex. Butchy McFabulous Stanna (I like, I like) is the best.

I commiserate re: the obnoxious and unnecessary exposition, but this is ad supported television, not HBO.

Yeah, but I'm not expecting ROME here. I'm not even expecting like Buffy or Space Above and Beyond quality, I just want like Dark Angel, or even Birds of Prey quality entertainment here. And it's failing. It's FAILING TO BE AS GOOD AS DARK ANGEL! I didn't think that was possible, lol

Lokinator is very tactile in real life, which is appropriate for a character such as Paige Sobel, but not for the supposedly detached, untrusting, motherless Jane Vasco.

Well, Jane shouldn't be touchy feely, but they can't make her completely detatched either. With these shows with stoic characters there's usually one person that they feel close to so that we can see their softer side and learn what they're feeling, etc. Like Xena was an emotionally stunted badass, but she'd hug Gabrielle. And Sydney Bristow could killinated like anyone anywhere, but she had Francie, and Vaughn and her sister that she could let her guard down with. Max had Original Cindy, etc.

So, I don't think it would be too out of character for Jane to show some tenderness around someone she's known for around a decade (since we know she and Mo went to the academy together). They show just chooses really random moments and people for Jane to be tactile with (Connor, McBride, Riley?) which makes it seem weird, whereas if she was hugging her best friend it would seem more organic.
