You know what it reminded me of - Xena's 'The Deliver'. You know, how the episode started out as a Boadicea vs. Ceasar with Xena kicking ass. The next thing you know, Gabrielle's getting raped by ribbons of fire and I'm all WTF? Dude, last minute changes because the Exec. Producer got a wild hair up is ass *always* leads to badness.
I did like how JP managed to take no responsiblity, plug his comics, and be a team player all at the same time.
I actually admire him for that. It was like reading talking points for fandom!
This is the sort of thing that always makes me wish I had the money and the resources to create my own programming.
*sigh* I know. There's only so much L Word and/or subtexty shows one can watch before you crave something with a little more substance.
