lol, I have no desire to read the books either. I think the Serena/Blair is way gayer on screen than they are in the book anyway, so there's really no reason to. Plus, the pretty that is Leighton and Blake is like half of the reason to watch the show.
How Blair had been reluctant to get close to Serena again
I thought this would be a nice tie in to the 'not-hug' at the end of last weeks episode. I found that really poignant in that their still so fragile that like even hugging might make them break down. If they really didn't care they could have done a limp armed hug, but not for our girls, when they hug they HUG (see pilot, lol)
the flashback to that party where Nate was only a poor choice of a stand in for who Serena really wanted
Blair's feelings about what Serena did were so much more intense than about Nate actions. And Serena's desperation to get Blair to forgive her. They are totally in love with each other!
This show is the best thing to happen to femslash in a very long time.
I couldn't agree more. I'm so obsessed with them right now, I can't stop rambling.
And I feel stupid asking, but who's Darla?
Darla is Serena's mom, Mrs. Van der Woodsen. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if they've even mentioned her name on the show, I just know from looking at IMDB.
Thanks so much for the feedback, I'm glad that you enjoyed the story (and that I'm not alone in this new obsession!).
