I agree about that the non-hug at the end of the last ep was telling. Their relationship is still so fragile. The eye contact they shared is in a lot of ways much more intimate than physically touching, too.
I'm totally obsessed, too. To the point that I ship them in real life. And affectionately call them Bleighton. Ahem.
And I'll always associate Darla with Julie Benz, too. Twice I had to stop and remind myself that she's not in the show and picture Kelly Rutherford instead, lol. At least now I have another excuse to go back and reread this fic! Not that I needed one the two times I reread it before. ;)
