Honestly... even in an ep with such little S/B screen time together, they still manage to make that tiny moment completely subtext-y.
I realised with this ep that this entire show is pretty much all about Leighton/Blair for me. I'd always kind of hoped that she'd take it all off and let her hair down (literally and figuratively) for the first time for Serena -- but Chuck got to her first!! I'm kinda torn about that.
looking at her like she was sex personified and really that's how it should be. It was kind of hot to see Chuck really appreciating how hot Blair is
You're totally right here; however, parts of my brain were thinking, "shouldn't Chuck have seen it all already?" but if you compare him to Serena and how she was saying "no one's ever looked at me like that" in spite of her so-called experience, it stands to reason that something out there can still impress a jaded Chuck Bass. Which THEN begs the question "what took him so long to see it??"
Also, the idea of the mother/daughter getting it on with father/son thing made me gag a little, so I was kinda relieved no sex ended up actually taking place between those pairs. (well, obviously there are other reasons I was relieved for no sex between Dan and Serena)
Finally, can Vanessa just get some love already instead of just dispensing good advice to everyone else? Physician heal thyself! And all that.
