Another way to insert a link is to use HTML tags. For example:

[a href="http web address"]How to Link to Another Journal[/a] - only [] should be <>

And the Cuts:
[lj-cut text="text here"] and [/lj-cut] only the [] should be <>

And Images!
[img src="insert url/address" alt="title or description" /] once again replace [] with <>
