Okay...I'll cop to it: I have only watched the first episode of this show. I saw this fic being posted and I recognized the author as someone I enjoyed, but the show...eh. So I skipped reading it. This morning I clicked on the link to the first part just out of sheer boredom...and holy crap am I glad that I did! I keep forgetting that the fandom is what originally drives you to the fanfic, but it's the author's that keep you coming back. I find I am completely fascinated by these characters and this wonderful incredibly written story. I should know better by now...anytime you write something it doesn't matter the fandom, the story itself will more than make up for whether or not I like the show. Wonderful job.
