I found her really abrasive in the first episode, but her snark won me over..
It was the episode where she bailed Jason out of jail that won me over. Despite my initial reservations, I think they've done a good job into making her a complex, multi-layered character. Even Tara's mother could have been a one-note character and has turned in ways I wasn't expecting.
Jason is a waste of space.
A waste of space and completely ONE NOTE. After *nine* friggin' episodes this is Jason's characterization - I'm dumb, I'm horny, I'm hooked on 'V'. I just find it completely frustrating since they've done so well with all the other characters.. who get *way* less screen time. He's like the Peter fucking Petrelli of the show.
I mean, seriously, when you and your new partner in crime kidnap a vampire, tie him up in your basement and then torture him by having sex in front of him the LAST thing you do is let your partner in crime work with the pro-vampire person who can READ MINDS!!
