Oh my goodness, thank god, another person who thinks it could have been much worse! yay!
Yeah, as a movie it isn't bad. Stunning scenery shots + good music made my muse quite happy. And I liked the detective!Bella sequence, that was done well.
ex. the Victoria/Rose face-off in the baseball scene, Alice ripping James head off, Alice sniffing Bella's blood like it was crack, the Nomads at the dock, Victoria running barefoot through the forest, and especially Victoria's last scene in the movie.

I literally jumped out of my seat when Alice ripped off James' head. That was bad ass.
And I felt so bad for Alice when Edward cockblocked her by the bus.
Oh I did too! Her little look of disappointment killed me. D: Don't worry Alice, you'll have your chance soon!
