She's angsty and broken and she still manages to kick butt in a way that just left me breathless and laughing and cheering like a maniac. And the novella explains so much and made me hate Rachel, just a little, and love Skimmer even more.
Okay, I've gotta try and get my hands on this. I'd heard Kim had written a short from Ivy's POV, but after this review I definitely have to check it out!
The depth of love/commitment on both sides, even if it is complicated with all the vamp stuff, left me breathless.
I think the Ivy/Skimmer relationship definitely has darker undertones than Ravy, but it's sweet in it's own way. Skimmer is really almost as dreamy as Ivy in her own way. She is the Ivy, to Ivy's Rachel in their relationship really.
